i'm a swimmer, and even tho theyre different sports haikyuu definitely struck a chord with me that no other sports anime has. its really good at explaining the nuances of how having something ur passionate ab can change the course of ur whole life, which is rlly special to me :) . It really brought out the side of me that appreciates sports and what they can do for people :)
favorite genres are shonen and seinen

i usually like to watch things seasonally, so I probably haven't finished any longer anime
im also an impatient watcher, so I'm not good w longer stuff in general lmao

I love BL dramas and webtoons ive seen at least a 100 already but my favorite two are To my star and semantic error.

Haikyuu

i own all the manga, ive watched it a total (all seasons through) 6 times. and i got "fly"written on my high school varsity jacket. Its like whenever i feel unmotivated or sad i just come back to this show, and hinata and the other characters inspire me to get better,
it really helped me through so much and i grew sm as a person bc of it

Attack on Titan

I first watched this when i was 13, and at the time I didn't understand much about it or why people thought it was good. After rewatching lately, I've grown a newfound attachment to aot, bc of the characters and how dark they were. There was little happiness to be found in attack on titan, but I enjoyed analyzing the twistedness of it all at every moment of my rewatch. The story really sticks with you, and it makes you think. Thats why I've put it back at the top of my list.

Jojos part 4

I love all of Jojo, but part 4 got me hooked. Its also special to me since im very close to my dad and his favorite song is Shine on you crazy diamond, for which josukes stand is named.
