| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting start, it introduced protagonist Tanjirou along with the fictional setting of their world. The animation quality looks great and it didn't take long for him to encounter a bloody scene in the first episode. Oh Nezuko... Not just her though but seeing those sights of death is really tragic. The catch is that Nezuko didn't die and is instead shown as a demon. On most parts, I think the episode was executed well. Even felt the music had a consistent feel to it, probably the best among this Spring lineup.  |

| It was amazing, fantastic OP. The animation was high quality, the OST gave me chills. Can’t wait for Zenitsu’s appearance. Hopefully there won’t be any kind of break between the 26 episodes, but I’m quite skeptical about it Hyped asf, it feels so good seeing your favorite shonen getting a great adaptation |

| That was fantastic, probably the strongest premiere of the season right here. Love the setting, I heard a good deal about this series before but since an anime adaptation was announced I decided to wait for this before reading the manga and I'm so glad I did. This was great. Loving the setting here, though it was kinda obvious what was gonna happen. The hints about the Oni were a little too overt so I had a feeling this was gonna happen but what I didn't expect was that his sister was turning. The one scene where Tanjuro pleads Giyu to not kill his sister really got me though, made me tear up. :( Soundtrack is fantastic, the art is great and the OP was incredible. Have high hopes for this, looking forward to more. |

| To think that ufotable would do a WSJ manga adaptation. Stellar production for a very good manga can only mean good news. Fantastic visuals and music, and the voice acting is on-point too. First episode adapted the first chapter at a pretty good pace too. That OP is fantastic though. Tanjirou's Breath of Water Style looks absolutely gorgeous in animation. I love that contrast in visual style! |

| This was great, never read the manga i only stumbled upon this cause of ufo and yuki kajiura, this first episode exceeded my expectations. Cant wait for more. |

| Glacially slow start, but became a cant turn my head away from the tv for the 2nd half. Nothing revolutionary or innovative, but still watchable. Left a stronger impression on me than the associated manga chapters After Heaven's Feel 2 though, snow, action, and everything else looks pretty dull and uninteresting in Kimetsu though, so Im unimpressed by the visuals. Electric boy in the OP looked hot and will be one I will keep watching this anime for, Giyu(sp) crew in the OP also looked great so can't wait to see. Hope this anime stays serious and doesnt go a goofy route. I need a serious demon/exorcist slaying show to fill the Owari no Serafu/BLue Exorcist gap |

| This is really a simple one; ufotable + LiSA + Yuki Kajiura is definitely a win in my book. This is the strongest Episode 1 for now and most likely will be of this season. The art, the music, the animation... I will enjoy this one without any second of doubt. |

Probably because most of it seems to be done by Kajiura. Those Chiaki Ishikawa vocals are haunting - nice to hear them working together again. Fantastic first episode, honestly. Nice to see that Giyuu isn't a complete jerk in the end. He just follows logic based on what he himself sees. |

| Holy fucking shit....What a great first episode I could go on and on about the art and animation, but this is Studio Unlimited Budget Works here and quite frankly, it was a given that visually this would have been amazing, but the music is what stood out the most for me production wise The OST literally added to just about every scene and created such an ambiance filled with so many fitting tones and the OP itself....Holy shit, Lisa has done it again by blessing us with another banger As for the story and characters, I started to get the same amount of vibes and feeling that I got from SnK when we were introduced to Eren's family and happy life, only for him to lose them in such a tragic way, and this made me feel that exact same thing. Man I felt so bad for this kid's family, especially since they were all so sweet and loving too :( And don't get me started on when the MC begged the dude not to kill his only remaining family member because I felt that to my core, like I would have done the same too TwT But character wise, I'm sold. The MC isn't annoying nor is he stupid (And MAN was I impressed to see what he did vs that cool demon slayer dude), I loved how even after his sister was turned into a demon, she still retained her humanity and fought to protect him and even cried for him, the badass demon slayer is badass and I need more of him ASAP and based off of the OP, it looks like this series is filled with cool characters, so I can't wait Overall, this was an amazing start to this series and its gonna be hard for anything to top this first episode imo |

Shiina is the main composer actually based on the credit he used much more instruments than Kajiura. Using more instruments doesn't mean he's the main composer. Just more varied :P Either way, it's too early to really say. But being a major fan of both of them, I have faith in my ability to separate their music by ear and to me it sounded like most of the pieces we heard in this episode were in Kajiura's style. But we can't know for sure until the actual OST comes out with credits listing who did what track. |

| Cruelty- this word sums up this first episode really well. I knew from the moment that we were introduced the all of MC's familly members that they are gonna end up the way they did(something not uncommon for the anime) but his reaction still shook me. Music was great and animation is simply amazing,I'm looking forward to next saturday...... |

| Now that's a fucking great to start Kimetsu no Yaiba! Ufotable really nailed, I wasn't expecting to se the image of the family after the massacre. Also, the voice of Natsuki Hanae really fits to Tanjirou, our main guy. The hype is getting higher, I'm really looking forward to what's next. |
