What are some anime that you can watch in Japanese dub and no subs, yet you can understand the show perfectly. Something like Ergo Proxy it's impossible for the plot is too heavy and the dialogues are very important. Maybe something like a mindless comedy, lets say Pop Team Epic, that does not require a dialogue to be funny?

Any shounen for sure
they always recycle the same dialogues.

Slices of life are the easiest since they don't have technical words.

Every show that's adequate to the level of your Japanese language knowledge. Here's your answer.

Or shows without any dialogues, like some anime for little kids.

Really agree with this. The easiest genre to watch in Japanese sub, without any problem on understanding something.

@fuyuki my Japanese is very good, sugoi, ecchi, yamete!
@hanamuke sol has a unique and cool atmosphere but the dialogues are fun too, in amanchu you really get engaged in their diving talk.
I agree that stuff like Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou doesn't require fancy dialogue to make it watchable.

For some reason this comment made me laugh way too much. X'D

But slice of life, for sure, that doesn't have characters that speak in dialect. It's pretty standard Japanese that I can get the gist of what they're saying.

@Catalano
My thoughts are it seems pretty conceited to think you can understand any show perfectly without dialogues, even SOLs, even PopTeamEpic that has lots of winds-up. You can get the gist of them, but never understand them perfectly.

I certainly do not need sub for Boku no Pico, or hentai too if you count them in.

@EratiK you're not wrong, also pingu in da city seems the best choice since is doen't have dialogue. texhnolyze doesn't have that much talking but in the final episodes we get some good ol' exposition dialogue scenes. Maybe there is one. Nami was cool.

Monogatari. Just because there's SO much dialogue that if I was watching it for the first time without subs I'd just be flabbergasted at what I was watching

Most of slice of life shows. And it might be a very good language practice.
And .hack series XD No need for subs or paying much attention as nothing happens AT ALL.

It depends, pure iyashikei maybe. If it's comedy focused then not really. I would say that the easiest genre to understand is shoujo romance.
Anyway, the best thing to do in any case is to search for Japanese subtitles.

Well anime aren't such big of the problem for me, since i don't care about understanding the language but i always had the mania on watching movies Sub Japanese. I used to see a few clips and it's pretty awesome.

Love the "Generic isekai MC with his own harem" voice in movies lmao

You can watch through most kids Anime really well without subs (since mostly there aren't any for some real old ones so you have to watch raw regardless). Something like Doraemon (1979) is really easy to understand.
The dearer you hold a memory the more painful it becomes.

Hokuto no Ken can easily be watched without subs. Events are kinda simple and are understood intuitively.

It's either shounen since the same sentences usually repeated again and again, or CGDCT things because they usually use sentences that isn't too hard to understand. XD

I'm starting to get embarrassed by my own forum signature line.. XD
