| What a shocker! First we have 90s manga getting adaptions out of the blue then we have old relics returning with sequels and remakes and now this! I have really been meaning to binge this series for a while now and this news will surely give me a valid reason to. “The new anime will adapt the manga series in its entirety” is hype! I’ve heard that the writer was very dissatisfied with the earlier adaption even breaking connections with the director so I hope this will deliver! TMS Entertainment have been a part of a few glorious anime series and I’m having high expectations for this! Great news for all Fruits Baskets fan! Enjoy your day! |

Are they going to go with the modern day shoujo bishounen type look or keeping their long slanted eyes and pointy nose design is what I'm essentially wondering. And Tooru's huge eyes. |

| ...Now that I've calmed down... Yay! I'm very very excited! This was something I only dreamed about, for more than a year. Fruits Basket was one of the first animes I've ever watched, and one I continuously rewatch. It is my most rewatched anime. I'll never be tired of both the comedy or tragedy aspects. I own the entire manga, they are all a few years old, and they have gotten a lot of love from me. It will be my favourite manga for years to come. I can't wait to see it made with a budget it deserves. The original anime was fine, but failed to really bring justice to everything Fruits Basket had to offer. I'm intrigued by the announcement of a new art style... I am curious to see the new designs!! |

| Yes Im so excited for this! Fruits Basket is one of the first shoujo anime I've ever watched and loved. I remember watching it in elementary school and i didnt even know what shoujo was. Kinda weird for a biy watching shoujo but I really didnt care back then lol. |

| I'm really excited because of my sense of nostalgia with this series despite many things I didn't like about it as it's one of my first anime, and since I remember practically nothing about it I'm curious to see how my memory of it holds up, also since this is the entire story as the title says, it's gotta run for a long time, I doubt even a 3 cour will be enough. I trust TMS Entertaiment to do a good job though, most of their shows are well handled and haven't been rushed. |

A well-known and beloved shoujo manga for generations getting an anime remake. This is more than enough for manga to anime fans to get excited about. | It's been on my to-read for ages but I'm really happy it's going to get another life with this adaptation. Naturally, the complete story makes this a compelling reason to watch too. I hope they're prepared to do the story justice. |

| Part of me is excited. I know fans have waited over a decade for this. OTOH...a lot of recent adaptions of older anime skip so much content in order to fit everything into 26 episode, and I'm scared that'll happen again. |
