The fact that 11 out of the top 12 titles this week are from Shueisha is pretty amazing if you ask me.

Good lord, One Piece manages to sell 1.5 mil copies in a week. Even with the declining manga industry, it still goes strong.

Man love one piece, and good to see Oda working dedicatedly on it. Now if Togashi and Muira could learn something, that would be wonderful.

I thought that DB would sell less by having the anime so advanced
OP in first, nothing weird
Can someone tell me how much DB was selling?

Sequel to Blue Giant, a music manga (protagonist wants to play jazz).
The link here doesn't work, but the manga does show up if you search for it.

Lovely to see Shokugeki no Soma still going strong, even the spin-off which I must get around selling relatively well.

32. *,*24,251 *,*24,251 Hinomaruzumou Vol.17
33. *,*23,126 *,*43,474 Mujaki no Rakuen Vol.12

Great second week for Mujaki no Rakuen which is fab to see. Nice to see Hinomaruzumou up there as well, surprised Jump kept it going despite the rather lackluster sales, must be popular with the magazine readers. Really hope it gets an anime adaptation one day.

The sale number is pretty good, beat a lot of other manga. Since it is not drawn by Toriyama and the era of DB is pretty much over, it won't reach the same popularity as the original DB.

Fire Punch cracking top 50? Wow... it's the worst manga I'm currently reading and never would I have thought it is actually successful to a degree. And there's a Splatoon manga, had no idea about that...

It used to sell 300-400K in the first week but digital sales are a big part of the total sales now so almost every series is down in physical sales.

Actually the decline is in shounen jump rankings..It always used to be in top 7 or something like that but now it can't get past Number 10, and there's a really good reason behind that but in terms of sales? not that much

It's nice to see Akagami no Shirayukihime already selling 104k combined, I preordered the special edition for the included art book (my first Japanese version of a manga).
The timing is a bit unfortunate though because it's only 3 days in, would have been great to see it rank even higher with a full week of sales :/

nah.... yes, the rangking getting worse, but still not dangerous enough in axed area... also WSJ rangking barely had thing to do with anime adaptation or tankubon volume sales... but yeah, not gonna happen right after they put investment after it... a year after anime ended tho, it's when you need to starting get concerned about rankings...
