Will you look at that? LL Sunshine is still shitting on every anime on this list. That makes me smile for some odd reason. Volume 2 will also have an event ticket so Volume 2 is most likely going to sell just as much as the 1st volume did. That means by the end of volume 2, the series will sell a total of 150k copies. LL Sunshine Season 2, here we go! (in Chika's voice) As for Re:Zero's sales, it didn't hit 10k this time around Dx |

Vol.1: 49,484 estimate with 66,912 week 1 (35.22% underestimated) Vol.2: 38,172 estimate with 7 days to go. Now we should look at Love Live! 2nd Season estimates and what they actually sold in week 1... Vol.1: 60,214 estimate with 82,505 week 1 (37.02% underestimated) Vol.2: 23,867 estimate with 41,865 week 1 (75.41% underestimated) Vol.3: 23,407 estimate with 41,482 week 1 (77.22% underestimated) Vol.4: 29,051 estimate with 41,243 week 1 (41.97% underestimated) Vol.5: 27,964 estimate with 38,997 week 1 (39.45% underestimated) Vol.6: 24,239 estimate with 30,960 week 1 (27.73% underestimated) ← Stock issues, as it had a huge 10,809 week 2 Vol.7: 38,670 estimate with 51,985 week 1 (34.43% underestimated) It's hard to compare between Love Live! 2nd Season and Love Live! Sunshine Vol.2, because Love Live! Sunshine Vol.2 being 75.41% underestimated would be ridiculous if it has a 38.2K estimate that is still rising. Perhaps it'd be more useful from Vol.3 and onwards, but it shows that the Amazon Stalker estimates can vary wildly in accuracy if an anime has strong performance at other stores other than Amazon JP. |

Shouldnt that be up in the millions and even ten millions by now? The Tonari no Totoro DVD product ID number changed on 2014/07/16 from VWDZ-8002 to VWDZ-8192, therefore Oricon reset its sales back to 0 on that day. That's why it's only at 72K for the 2014 DVD release. And you're overestimating how much Tonari no Totoro sold... it's more like around 2~3 million copies within Japan rather than > 10 million. Although it could be > 10 million in reality, as Oricon doesn't count rentals or overseas sales. We just don't know with enough precision how much it sold worldwide, only within Japan. |

How close is µ's for the gold disc certification of their FLL BD? or will they even reach that milestone at all? |

jayvee2016 said: How close is µ's for the gold disc certification of their FLL BD? or will they even reach that milestone at all? The 88,971 copies for Day 2 are deemed "sold" by Oricon, but this number is lower than the number of copies "shipped", which is the number that the RIAJ uses for their disc certifications. There are many situations where the number of shipped copies can deviate from the number of sold copies. Some shipped copies may have been lost in transit, still be sitting in stock at a particular store, shipped/sold overseas (Oricon counts this number but does not include it in their sales report), etc. Undoubtedly, the majority of copies not reflected in the "sold" number by Oricon are copies shipped/sold overseas as it is known that Love Live! is very popular in other countries such as Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, etc. So, we will know if µ's/Love Live! gets its 10th/12th gold disc certification around 1/3 into November, but µ's must be pretty close now at 88,971 copies sold. However, one thing the RIAJ could do is not combine the Memorial BOX shipped copies with the Day 2 shipped copies, despite the Memorial BOX containing Day 1 and Day 2, which would make it harder to achieve gold disc certification with just the shipped copies of the expensive ~20,000 yen BD-BOX. |

By the time they hopefully get gold certified, µ's will be the 1st anime related artist to even do that feat at all <3 Another milestone that aqours will chase in the near future |

If you watched LLSS S1 to the end then I think you'll agree there is less reason to have a cameo now. (Trying not to spoiler here). It warms my heart to see LL Sunshine selling so many copies. Maybe if they sell enough copies they'll bring back μ's in a cameo appearance? :D And I also think that flagging sales might have been a reason to get desperate and bring in the original cast. Good sales probably mean that is unnecessary. I _would_ love to see both of them in a concert together some time but that too might be past its time now. I fully expected a passing of a torch, a cameo by Aqours in the FinalLoveLive, coming on stage to catch the feathers or something. But nope.... they were in the audience to watch it and get the feel for it (and because they are all real Muse fans themselves) but that was it. No cameo. No passing of the torch. It was a moment for Muse and their fans alone with Aqours there ONLY as fans. |

Here's hoping Aqours 1st live is also live streamed overseas like with the μ's Final LoveLive!, as i'd gladly pay again to watch a Love Live concert in the theatre again! It was actually nice to see the Aqours seiyuu fangirling about μ's in one of their live streams back in April as shown in the video below XD |
