Here's a reason to believe why Juzo might still be alive in this series (Mirai-hen)

Dengeki Online just announced some new goods coming and one includes this folder

Why else would they have one of these boys die so randomly and without any real closure (in M-hen) and still have him there?? Why not another guy like Ryouta or something? Hehe

Maybe I'm just too hopeful. I know Ogata mentioned that the VA has finished his role in M-hen, but even if it was perceived as a mistake, it may be a red herring to who's the extra survivor in that survivor count this episode.

Apparently there is an official comic anthology for DR3 written by Spike Chunsoft and drawn by various artists. I hope it at least reveals some more about DR3 characters.

I somehow think the mastermind is not limited to one . Since Junko has manipulated 77 class into despair , i think all 77 class students give in to despair. Therefore, I think the masterminds behind this killing game is chiaki nanami , chisa and ryota mitarai. Chiaki is ultimate gamer so she knows how to produce a game , mitarai is an animator which means he is the one who presented the monokuma video. And is Chisa really dead? I somehow doubted Asahina is Chisa with the real asahina being killed. Asahina said the word warrior of hope which I found very suspiscious and there is also green eyed Asahina.

The Monokuma video in the beggining can't be a animation since it could answer the participants on the spot...

So did Nagito's prerecorded video in Danganronpa 2. He anticipated what they would say like how Lelouch from Code Geass deducted what Schneizel would say.

Nagito deduced their reaction but not the EXACT words they would say, and the response of the video was not immediate.
Now the Monokuma video clearly talked to Naegi and the timing of his answears was flawless...To predict not only what they would say but the timing to respond too is a Junko level achievement...quite difficult indeed...

Actually, only Monokuma's dialogue with Gekkogahara's Usami are proof of some sort of interaction. Otherwise there's nothing that strange. If memory serves me right, Monokuma does not even answer to questions: Sakakura asks him "who are you?" and Monokuma proceeds to go on with his speech as if no one said anything.

No, If my memory doesnt fail me, Monokuma Did stop talking to hear Naegi talk about how he refuses to play another killing game, Monokuma even looked a bit surprised when Naegi interrupted him...Them only after Naegi stops talking that Monokuma resumes his speech and reveals Chisa's dead body...

I admit that there's a great timing on Monokuma's part, but he definitely never answers a question, nor is he interrupted in the middle of a sentence or is surprised to someone talking.

The deciding point is when Monokuma hacks Usami/Gekkogahara, that thing at least had to be supervised by someone. And Monokuma decides to tell them about the body just a moment after Makoto notices it.

Oh yeah...there was no suprise, my memory failed me, though I got the timing thing right...

So maybe, just maybe, it really was a video...as for Monokuma and Gekko's interaction, it is implied that Monaca had something to do with this killing game, so maybe that was a setup to prevent the participants (and us watching the anime) of realizing that was a video...

That would make Mitarai the obvious suspect though...

I have the feeling Mitarai's NG code is "being alone" or "be ?? meters/feet away from any survivor". Maybe he looks to his phone that often because he has a picture of his friends of class 77-B, something that gives him the will to go on in this crazy scenario.

Maybe mitarai NG code~,ever he is was alone from every part all of episode?

A flashback from the first adaptation. So that's why I got a little confused at fhe start ,_,

Kirigiri's still dead :( Mechagahara's corpse is unsettling as fuck.

Tengan taunted psycho taichou; no wonder he died... I'd like to see what he meant by everyone is the attacker.

Chisa actually fell in despair. I now understand why Munakata went crazy, but one thing that bugs me still is why did he kill Juzo.

Killer's been revealed, Mitarai's game over action's still not revealed, and a sneak peek from Jabberwock Island once again. Dang cliffhanger.

5. My personal theory is that his NG code is "Kill someone at the end of each turn". He uses that phone of his, that he always keeps in his hands, to check the surveillances, wake up his victim and play the videos on the monitors. Funnily enough, that would make the game's rules fair and Munakata's scenario can't happen
This would also make Tengan's words more truthful: everyone kills themselves or they kill someone else. Thus, everyone is technically the culprit as they gave in to despair in one way or another, even though the actual Despair was the first to die.

this is scary wtf but i was also just asking myself again what the hell is the deal with him holding his cell phone close all the time. that's no coincidence. just like what's his face with his fist in his pocket all the time.

i am so empty and numb like i can't deal with kirigiri being gone. i just want this to END.

Hagakure existence overall
Togami unable to do anything, 10 episodes and I can count all his lines in my hands.
We don't know what fuck there is in that island, if the despair team decided to fuck each other and live happy ever after.
We still don't who the attacker is and I will tell you now IT DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER because any traitor worth his salt is killing everyone here and now when they are all reunited, and even then would it be satisfying? They only show the important evidences AFTER THE CASE IS SOLVED, making you just accept what is handed in front of you.
I will never know if you are reading this, giving the fact this will be the last episode I will see of this, I wanted to take this off my back because it was eating me from the damn beginning, even though I could keep writing until I die about this.

okey first of all, rUDE over hagakure but im cracking up here bcuz it will never not be funny but second, i agree with everything. i totally agree. that fight was literally the worst thing ever. obviously i'll stick to the end because i still love everything this whole show/game was before but a lot of themes i loved about it are being overused with no purpose or way to relate to them at all and all the character development is so stale right now idek.

Remaining Survivors Count is at 6
Yasuhiro Hagakure (still stuck outside and not apart of the killing game)
1: Makoto Naegi
2: Kyousuke Munakata
3: Aoi Asahina
4: Ryouta Miterai (He could be the attacker by controlling the monitor's with his phone make the victims kill themselves he has black bags under his eyes maybe from lack of sleep and if he is using his phone to control the monitors then he wouldn't have to leave the room that he is in.)
5:???
6:???
Ng Code deaths
Bandai Daisaku: (Was Triggered by Juzo Sakakura)
Sounosuke Izayoi: (Was Triggered by Ruruka Andou)
Kizakura Kouichi: (Was Triggered by Ruruka Andou)
Kyouko Kirigiri: (which i still don't think is dead do to the fact in episode 9 the medicine bottle that she found when investigating Seiko's body was near her then in episode 10 if you pause it after Makoto wipes the blood from her eye you will notice her neck is no longer purple nor is it purple from the start of the forehead leading to her eye looks like the purple was fading from her face where as in ep 9 and the beginning of ep 10 the whole left side of her face and the neck was purple at first so hmmm what is happening to the purple i wonder.)

Attacker Theory (It could be Ryota or the alternate theory is there is no attacker and the monitors automatic active when everyone is asleep the wrist bands and monitors are all set to the same time anyone near a monitor when they are asleep means the posiblity of death is very high.)
Murdered by attacker
Chisa Yukizome: (Killed herself or faked her death and is using Ryota against his will)
Great Gozu: (Killed himself)
Seiko Kimura: (killed herself)
Ruruka Andou: (killed herself)

The real Miaya Gekkougahara was killed by Monaca
Mecha Miaya Gekkougahara was destoryed by Kyousuke Munakata
Kazuo Tengan was killed by Kyousuke Munakata
Juzo Sakakura was killed by Kyousuke Munakata
An if your wondering why the victims was suspended it was monukuma who did it to cause confusion.

Ryota's forbidden action seems to let anyone find out about the mastermind. Also the attacker is whoever is controlling Monokuma I mean monokuma's personality reflects on whoever is controlling him and in this the last two survivors are in fact monslty kirigiri and the mastermind.

Now about Monokuma it seems whoever s using him they sound bitter and cynial and considering what they did to Chisa they seem to really want her dead, plus Seiko's death is the least violet almost seems they actually pity her, while Ruruka's death is more brutal like Gozu's.The Killer really didn't seem to like her and that fact that Monokuma lied about it being broadcast seems to be that the attacker isn't that cruel like Junko I mean they could be the other project Tengan was talking about. Plus The battleships are empty and the one boat seems to take Hajame/Izuru to somewhere.

Considering the culprit couldn't be only one person, Ryota definitely know something about this incidents. Most probably he was used by the mastermind or at least he knows who was the one behind it all.

At the first place, there were already more than one remnant of despair in the scene. First one was Gekkogahara (Monaca), the second one being Chisa (I doubt she was the real mastermind). I also think that Chisa's death might not be a suicide. It was planned, but there might be someone else who killed her (her colleagues), just to turn Munakata into despair.

Let's see back to the first episode, where the patrols were killed. They got their head spun 180 degrees, so the person who did this might have a strong build. This could mean the killer was Sakakura, Gozu, Tenga. Munakata way of killing is by using his sword, Izayoi was a blacksmith and he prefer using weapons in fighting, so I doubt these two were the culprit.

I seriously suspect Sakakura being one of the preparator. He might be the one who killed the patrols *and* Chisa. Although I doubt Sakakura was the one who did it.

Also, we might consider who throw the sleeping gas in the first episode. The said gas was thrown near Gozu's feet. Chisa was standing on the same side as Gozu, but she was at the back. A bit far from Gozu's standing position. Considering it was not her, who did throw the gas? It might be Tengan, who stand near him.

Remember Ryota was searching for Tengan too in the first episode. I don't know what he was going to talk to him, but these two are suspicious. And the way Tengan talk to Munakata, saying that the attacker were all the Future Foundation members, he might have betrayed them from the start.

So the question is, how many members of future foundation were actually a remnant of despair from the start? We know that Chisa was one. Gekkogahara was Monaca so she was also counted as one. After watching this episode, Tengan might be one of them too. Sakakura might also be one if you watch Despair Arc. Seeing how the poison in their bracelets is super effective I also come to doubt Seiko also have fallen to despair. Ryota... this one is probably just being used as someone's doll or something. And he was afraid of the despair, it's the reason why he was wondering how can Naegi be so strong after Kirigiri's death.

Sorry for the long post.

It´s just important because of the theory, that the whole Future-arc ( miarai-hen ) is an animation done by Ryota´s help. Now if this is true, then it has to be narrated by someone we know from the Dangangornpa universe, most likely from the Despair-arc. I was thinking of Mukoro, but I can´t tell either.

Edit: I listened to it again and you might be right that Kyoko is the one who narrates that. But if she´s really the one then it´s not really fitting with that theory.

hello fans

personaly, i think Bandai Daisaku is the agressor:

-only him had the force too raise great gozu
-his forbiden action was impossible for anyone
-kirigi have confirmed they wake up in a other room, someone strong like him would be helpfull for yukizome and the mastermind.

but i think i'm wrong because that would mean Seiko Kimura is an accomplice:
-give quickly a remed to daisaku
-can faint death with her knoweldge
-in the first episode, against mikan, she has one eye that look like monokuma eye part black...

but she had zero motives, and she have her past memories, so it's impossible.

the other thing i think it's, except to work harder my poor english(^^), these who use their forbiden action don't die but became executor and are controlled by the mastermind.

after, it don't explain why there are a helicopter who chased hagakure: there are someone in or it's auto?

well i can't wait for the next

Since only few hours are left to the next episode which may reveal the mastermind, here are my thoughts:

The killing game was designed in Munakata's favor. The mastermind could have moved everyone far away from the building they originally were in but instead they were moved to the facility below it which is still part of the building that Munakata knows about. Some people were chosen to be killed to ensure the plan was going well or because they were the main targets.

Ruruka was probably one of the main targets because she was planning on betraying the Future Foundation by leaving it along with members in her faction. This could explain why she was killed in a more brutal way than the others during the sleeping period. In addition, her NG code was kind of odd considering it was already very difficult for anyone to escape. Perhaps the reason they were moved to a different location was to prevent Ruruka from escaping and her NG code was insurance in case she managed to escape or someone else get outside and contact for help.

Naegi is also targeted because his ideals are against Munakata's ideals. Naegi couldn't be killed during the sleeping period because it would make things suspicious. But his NG code was to limit his movement so that he can be killed easier by one of the others. Kyouko's NG code was to make him lower his spirit and make him easier to kill in case he managed to survive long. Seiko was killed because she could have developed a cure for the poison. Gozu was killed because he was the strongest of all the people who were on Naegi's side.

The mastermind wanted Munakata to end up killing the others too. To help make this happen, Chisa was killed and photos showing her true nature were left for Munakata to see. Tengan's NG code was probably to help make this happen too. The end game is for Munakata to be the only survivor and everyone is going to see that his idea of hope is right especially with Naegi dead. However, instead of spreading hope Munakata will be spreading despair.

Judging from all the clues, Chisa is most likely the mastermind. If you think about it, there's no need for Chisa to have NG code if she was going to be killed before the game started. Most likely the first victim was a fake and that Chisa is actually lurking in the facility. The fake one was killed in order for Chisa to be not considered a suspect and to drive Munakata into despair. Chisa would know about the building and have the resources to orchestrate this since she is close to Munakata. Of course she would also have those photos. I think after everyone else is dead she will reveal herself in front of Munakata and have him kill her. She did say she would die for Munakata and having him kill her would complete the despair. If her plan fails and Munakata dies then she would rather die immediately which could explain her NG code.

Why did Asahina say that she found the attacker when Tengan said there were several? I don't really get it, I would assume she said the because the other presumed attackers are dead but they would still be previous attackers.
I'm not that shocked that Chisa did get touched by despair, but I do feel bad for Munakata. I mean I don't forgive he killed the other dude though.

That six count is messing with my head. Who's the liar? I feel like it's Sakakuro right? He's the only one we didn't see definitively die. I can't believe Makoto and Munakata have faced off now. The fabled face off in the OP. And Munakata's had his little arc. Where he doesn't regret meeting his toddler butchering ex lady love. But there's still so many questions. And TWO whole episodes? I don't know where we're headed now. Most of this episode was just Makoto getting his ass beat by Munakata. And then finally convincing him rooting out despair is not the same as embracing hope. It was all good stuff, that brought a nice twist on Danganronpa's usual ideological dialogue of Hope vs Despair. But it wasn't a particularly diverse episode. And it left me with so many questions especially right at the end.

What did Aoi figure out about the traitor from Kyoko's body? She glared at Munakata but it may have just been because he'd laid the beat down on her boy Makoto. Animator dude probably isn't complicit since she walked the whole way with him. He is the last one who's forbidden action we haven't learned though. That could be very significant. Last but not least where are Byakuya and Yasuhiro? We haven't seen them in a hot minute. Also our paltry survivors may ban together to put an end to the killing game. But how are they going to get out of here? Nothing left to do but watch the last two episodes. And hope it feels more concluded than the Despair Arc.

Now I'm curious. Who is the attacker? And why Tengan told that everyone joined the despair? He can't lie. Now I'm really confused.

And finally Jabberwock Island. I can't wait to see the reformed Hajime/Izuru again.

Finished the tenth future arc episode

-so Kirigiri had blood coming out of her, like the rest of the ones who were poisoned by their forbidden action. Guess that fully confirms she is dead then

-the count was 6 though,so juzo is still alive

-i do like how they split munakata and Naegi, with one side only worrying about Despair spreading, and the other side only worrying about spending hope.

-sooo,did Naegi just run in a hallway??!! And not die??!! Did the makers of this anime even forget their own rules??!! Bloody damn... *Faceplams*

-also, Naegi was fully willing to kill munakata with electricity, which not only contradicts his personality, it contradicts his entire message and beliefs

-and I am a 1000% that getting hit in the head with a fire extinguisher at full speed would knockout anyone, not have them shrug it off like it was nothing >_>

-sooo,if Naegi knew munakata couldn't kill him in the room, why didnt he stop fighting him as soon as they entered and he closed the door?? There was literally no reason to continue fighting munakata after that...

-Tengan's statement is weird, and I am pretty certain it isn't literal. I think what he meant is that all of them have a touch of despair in them from all they have been through, just waiting to be let out under the right circumstances like this one.

-aaaand we have our Deus ex machina ladies and gentlemen. Where the F*** did those photos come from??!! Kirigiri searched her before and found nothing. And munakata didn't search her.
I have only one hope, which is that those photos were photoshopped by the Mastermind to increase Munakata's despair. If they weren't then this is some of the most BS Deus ex machina in the history of f***ing anime.

-naegi stood on the injured leg instead of the normal one >_>

So Kirigiri herself didn't know the murderer and asahina knew from kirigiri's analysis?? Unless the murderer was ryota and didn't want to say it because he was with them, that is BS. Unless asahina guessed wrong.

-a reminder that jabberwock island still exists

Overall, second worst episode in DR3 after the 7th one. Just pure crap.

I'm still holding up hope (no pun intended) that Kyoko's alive. Though she was bleeding.

Damn, I guess Makoto intended to kill Munakata.

So, Chisa's the killer and not Munakata? I'm very confused. Regardless, he's still a garbage human being. They finally revealed the Chairman's words, which only makes things more confusing.

And what's Hina on about with the killer? Is it Mitari? He's been acting strange these past few episodes.

I guess Munakata's invasion of Jabberwok Island is still going on, it's been so long I've honestly forget that was happening.

Is Byakuya still alive? I need answers!

Damn, I’d a nasty feeling from the cliffhanger from Episode 9 of Zetsubou-hen but this confirms it. Yukizome-sensei had been tainted all throughout and is possibly one of the masterminds behind this game, talk about a surprise. Being the first to die is always suspicious but I didn’t think they’d do a repeat of that and it looks like I was far too naive regarding despair.

I’m not convinced that Kirigiri-san is dead just yet and the fact that the alive count is 6 reinforces my opinion. Sakakura and Kirigiri, I’m guessing these two are somehow just about alive.

Anyways, the whole fight between the two sides of Hope was pretty .. yeah, meh. Still can’t really empathise with Munakata, sadly.

Looks like we’ll be in for some long overdue answers next episode.

Well it seems Munakata finally realized how irrational he was acting. So glad we have Naegi here to be able to give this man some hope in one of the worst despairs he must've experienced. I hope they're able to escape soon. I wonder who the attacker is?

Ah yes, a flashback of the best ship - Kirigiri x Ramen Cup.

Ugh I hate cliffhangers!! I don't have time to watch the next episode today >:(

Does anyone else feel that Kirigiri is alive? I don't remember them doing that thing with the camera like they usually do when people die (when the camera moves around the body fast and despair-inducing music plays), so maybe..?
