| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This is one of the funniest battles I've ever seen, mostly because we got Illya fighting inside the body of a stuffed animal. Still, I thought the battle was exciting considering the stakes. Plus, we got Rin and Luvia fighting. Illya does return to her normal form though. About time! Poor Illya, the amount of suffering she has to go through in this parallel world D: |

| Another brilliant monologue. THIS RIGHT HERE. THIS RIGHT HERE explains it all on why Prisma Illya is perfectly part of Nasuverse. The end of this episode is perfect situation that turns everything upside down and yet again has the protagonist face an impossible conflict of ideals with the worldview the protagonist had being challenged by the reality she was unaware of. Holy shit can't wait for next episode. | Wow, they really stretched those two chapters a lot to fit the episode, even to the point of doing a freaking recap and slowing down the action, just so they can end on the "Choos!" cliffhanger. A 100% correct decision IMO. I don't have much to say about this episode's execution TBH. I kept wanting them to accelerate the abnormally slow pace, but i completely understood the pacing decision by the end. That scene can't be in the middle of the episode and the next scene triggers an intense non-stop chain-reaction that only stops several chapters later. On a final note about the episode, i really liked that zoom out coupled with that music.   Goddamn. Doesn't look like SL will pull their punches with the next episode. Now, while everything that happened in 3rei so far is really good, next episode and what follows will be truly the start of what elevates 3rei above all previous seasons for a lot of the manga reader, and i'm not talking about the action. Next week starts the prologue to what makes 3rei "Heaven's Feel 2.0". |

| Ilya having a still having a hard time despite getting her own body back and she has to make a choice as well. But knowing her the choice is already made. Also it's nice to have some Tohsaka and Ruvia fan service again. |

| HAHA, i'm just enjoying the battle. it's not even intense xD but it's enjoyable imo xD and now...okay! that twist got me a bit, but let's put that aside, WHO THE FUCK IS TANAKA. let's say they are the heroes of justice who's gonna saves the world, but! why Tanaka hates them a lot and her misson is to destroy them ? that's the main question isn't. the twist doesn't stop there, we still have tanaka around. I think, illya supposed to be searching that first before choosing either miyu or their world. i think from that point, after she knew everything about tanaka, she can now decided to choose either miyu or their world. what's the right choice and what's the wrong choice. that's what i think she should be doing in the next episode. well, basically, what i'm trying to say is, don't forget abou tanaka!!! xD cause i, myselft, got into the twist pretty deep that i even forgot about her and i just realized it when i opened the forum xD Tanaka is the answer. i just can't wait for them to reveal it xD and again, guys!!!, don't forget abut Tanaka!!! xD looking foward to the next episode xD illya sure got reck in this episode. 3 on 1....obvious i see.... edit: is it only me who remember Tanaka after watching this episode ? |

| Honestly this is why I love 3rei, because it revisits the themes of Heaven's Feel and Fate/Zero and truly feels like its not just some spin off series. Really hoping they don't start rushing to reach chapter 29 though, not sure how everything will be able to fit in 4 more episodes (Also if we reach chapter 29 there isn't really enough material for another season, does that mean 3rei will be the last anime adaptation for 2-3 years?) |

Maybe I am being overly optimist, but I think that Silver Link is in close contact with the mangaka so that next year they will end 3rei second cour with the manga. That is to mean, when episode 12 is released, the last chapter of 3rei will be printed, similar to what happened with assassination classroom. Whether 3rei will be the end of the series is anybodies guess, but if the mangaka has ran out of ideas it is better to quit while still ahead. |

Even in the most desperate situation they manage to save everybody. Illya wanted to be a magical girl that stands for love, peace, friendship, just like Shiro wanted to be a super hero. In the end they would suceed. Except that is not true in Nasuverse. Nobody can save everyoone. And I thought this world was some kind of "limited closed dimension" or something, especially designed to hold Miyu, and which included only this one city, not an entire parallel universe. |

That's an adaptation that require walls of text per episode to explain all the shit that the show just happily frolicks past to get to the fireworks. The most you'd get would be "heroes with "ancient weapons" fighting in a battle royalle!" Well in Herz it was outright stated that Miyu is not from Illya's world and characters in 3rei constantly talked about this world as a world and not just some closed off space. |
