| Not naming names here, just curious. In my case, this guy posts on my profile and I go to reply, but I find out he only lets friends post. So I PM him and he accepts my request, we get to talking and he seems like a pretty cool guy. I have to shut off my computer for about 2 hours due to class obligations, though, and when I come back he's unfriended me and deleted his comments from my profile. I figure it's a mistake so I send him another friend request, and he ends up rejecting me twice. For reasons I am still unaware of to this day. Anybody have anything like this happen to them on MAL? |

| Think the moment which annoyed me the most was a few months ago when I was in the middle of editing a synopsis for MAL Rewrite and the writer herself suddenly joins the Google Docs sheet and starts rejecting all my edits. I tried telling her that that's blatantly against the rules of the whole business but she just keeps throwing it back at my face and calling me 'unqualified' just for doing my job. Even though I knew I was right I had no power to do anything about it since she just kept deleting everything I was writing in real-time. Eventually ended with me having to delete the entire document and go report it to the admins just to be left alone. While they did indeed resolve the situation, they also asked me if I was willing to go give it a second shot after they'd lectured the girl up, but by that point I had pretty much zero motivation to do it anymore |
