Hi everyone :P. So I've just finished watching Chuunibyou season 1 and 2, and tbh it was really awsome. So to the main question, does anybody know if season 3 will even come out?

surprisingly the sales of season 2 averages around 7,000 disc sales so a season 3 with a completely original story is possible but i hope not because the second season was a letdown, sequels are usually bad and season 1 of this anime has a very good conclusion already

Sales of season 2 has been a huge drop from season 1, S2 still sold good enough for a S3 to be possible but I won't bet too much on it happening unless the guys at Kyoani are really attached to the series.

If there will be a third season then I really hope that they will at least kiss because I don't think I'll be able to survive twelve ''kissing on cheek three seconds instead of two'' episodes. I don't except them to have sex - I don't like hentai and I don't think Rikka would like to have it (not sure about Yuuta though, he've had at least one or two ''Rikka wanting to do it'' dreams after all) - but for gods sake, let 'em at least KISS. I mean - they're in high school! I know that Rikka is a bit ''special'', but come on.

They created the LN first, and then the anime, and while the LN stopped getting new releases, the anime continued (same for the story), it is not like they ever needed the LN to begin with, since it all from KyoAny, you could almost call the series an original.

Chuunibyou was the anime that got me hooked again on anime and THEY QUIT IT ON S2. Anyway I'm waiting for the best show ever(chuunibyou) to come out and if they don't bring it back out they r letting a lot of viewers down. #chuunibyou #best

Welp, the most recent KyoAni anime didn't sell that well, so I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to milk one of their hits. Especially since they haven't announced anything new besides Hibike!2, from what I remember.

For season three, all I want is what season 2 didn't give us. ROMANTIC SCENES! Sure they gave us the cock teases that of course KyoAni would do, but those weren't romantic scenes! When Rikka turned to Yuuta and said "Oh Yuuta, I love you!" or when she kissed him on the cheek goodnight. Things that make me enthralled to see the relationship blossom. God knows, Chuunibyou has too many jokes going around the internet saying, "Oh if you think your relationship is too slow, Yuuta Togashi took a year to hold his girlfriends hand." It was funny, at first, but now it's sad, bring on more dates, just completely cut out Shichimiya, NO ONE LIKED HER! Rikka and Yuuta are my OTP, and all I want to see is them doing cute things because that's what KyoAni does best. Rikka and Yuuta have such a breath of fresh air relationship in anime that I would love to see again, I don't want them to end on a giant cocktease that KyoAni put out "just cuz". If KyoAni even does a 3rd season of chuunibyou (cross your fingers) I'm kinda doubting their abilities right now with their recent and most fucked up flop known as Myriad Color Phantom World or whatever the fuck.
TL;DR
Rikka and Yuuta need more alone time. Shichimiya just needs to be retconned, they just need to make an episode where she Another style falls onto an umbrella and ends her annoying Rikka blocking (tried to right cock blocking but I didn't expect it to have as nice of a fit as Rikka block). KyoAni, stop being a cock tease because, damn it, we deserve something it's been 4 years, don't you think that's enough. I NEED MORE RIKKA IN MY LIFE.

P.S. Deko, Nibutani, and Isshiki, can go suck the biggest of dicks for all I care.

If there's one, I really hope is not complete shit like season 2.

Chuu1 was a masterpiece, Chuu2 was a dissappointment.

And I also hope in Chuu3 they remove Satone and give Rikka and Yuuta more time alone.

The source material is still on going so there could be a S3...

They are literally taking forever trying to develop the romance in the anime. Two entire seasons and a handful of OVA's and specials and we still don't get anything.
