| I like how they are evenly matched. Should Luffy even be a captain? I like the guy, but how stupid can you get? Also, does anyone else think that Wednesday being a princess is sort of random. If she's that important, then why is she personally infiltrating Baroque? Maybe this will be explained later. |

Even though his personality is very "juvenile" and hes some times acts very stupid, his resolve and his devotion to protect his nekama is what makes him the best captain of the straw hats crew. His determination and his ambition for his goal to become pirate king, keeps him running very strong. He will grow and grow more though through out the show and you probably won't be questioning rather he should be a captain or not. Luffy makes the best captain for sure because of his strong ideal's to accomplish his goals and protect his crew mates at all cost. You will start to really see his leadership qualities later on in the show. |

Yeah, that's kind of a weak reason since we know Luffy isn't like this. Also, Luffy is the strongest of the crew to others out there, but realistically right now, he couldn't win in a 1 on 1 with Zoro. We saw how awesome he is with a sword. He'd cut Luffy to bits. And the amount of damage he we've seen him take and still fight is almost equal to Luffy. Actually we've seen him fight with mortal wounds. Wait... I'm getting sidetracked. Anyway, yeah. I won't be able to take this fight seriously if they plan on continuing it. Oh, btw, I like Luffy more than Zoro. (In case you thought I was being biased). |

| I forgot how stupid Luffy's reason was for fighting Zoro, just makes the fight look pretty forced even though it's mainly for fanservice to those that wanted to see a fight between them. I highly doubt that Luffy would trust a random stranger over one of his Nakama just because they gave his fatass some dam food lol. |

| I was taken back by the way Luffy didn't have a single shred of trust in Zoro as well, and seeing the confusion in this thread I'm assuming it doesn't get fixed. Definitely questionable. Nami clearly has an understanding on how to get Zoro to do what she wants, and in a way it shows how close they've become. First she tricks him from Loguetown, then alike when Usopp made him play tag with him and Luffy, she insults his strength and bravery to get him to prove himself, and when that doesn't work she insults his honor to make him prove he has that at least. She systematically beat down Zoro's walls and forced him to help her out hahaha. Mr.5 using boogers to fight weirdly enough makes a ton of sense. Boogers are easy to fling, and if it needs to come from him to explode of course it'd be a good explosive projectile. I also think he could use his spit like gasoline and light it up. Lastly, further onto my thought about Zoro being based off of the Bushido. I realized that the Baroque Works names aren't exactly that elaborate and maybe she's just mentioning the fact he fights with a katana like a Samurai. Still, I think my point had some validity. |
| Ms. Valentine and Mr. 5 turned from threats into complete jokes when they tried to get between Luffy and Zoro while they were fighting each other over a big misunderstanding. |
