| I really don't like big over the top type of things most of the time not just mech in general. Just from watching the first three episodes of something like ttgl with how fast things are getting bigger and bigger. Or like the first episode of space dandy them blowing up a planet. Stuff like this just doesn't interest me. Just personal preference I believe mostly. |

| I try to figure out if I like it or not, but it seems every damn mecha entry I get is either an over-the-top parody or a genre deconstruction. |
| I prefer character interactions and using your own powers kind of thing. Some shows ive been really interested in then mecha comes along and just ruins the mood of the characters (a la...Big O) I dont mind if mecha is there per se but i really havent seen anything that uses it properly. |

I might get back around to try watching mech again in the future but there is so much other stuff id rather watch first. |

| I was reluctant at first about the mecha genre, but then i watched NGE, code geass, Aquarion, Rahxephon, Star Driver and Bokurano. all better than gurren laggan i say that if you liked eva, you will like other serious mecha too, gurren lagan is too silly i wonder if people who dont like mecha have any more experience than eva and/or gurren laggan |

| Never personally liked Mecha, I usually drop or not even consider a mecha anime, I don't know why.. The only Mecha anime I remember liking is Code Geass. |

| First off the most recent Mecha anime I have watched is Code Geass so I do not have a opinion of anything made after that. With that said I have always been a fan of Mecha. IMO SDF Macross is one of the best anime ever and I have always loved the Gundam franchise. I am not a fan of the "monster of the week" type of shows but I thoroughly enjoy Mecha anime with a well done character driven story such as Zeta Gundam. |

| I enjoy some mecha shows. I have to be in a particular mood to watch them. The main reason I don't watch them as much as other genres is because mecha shows are often 30% giant robot fighting compared to 70% of the time debating morals and politics. Though, I like that from time to time too. Just my opinion on the matter. |
