| I feel really sorry for Shimizu, no one should have to date Goro. I hope his solution to that guy hitting him isn't to level up his fastball again, it'll just be way too boring/predictable/unrealistic. |

| That episode was so gratifying. Nice going, Gorou. Major props to Taiga too. More romance, pretty please. We've waited long enough for it. Looking forward to Gorou being a "batting practice" pitcher. On the upside, it actually will help the Japanese team since they'll potentially be facing Gibson. |

| i loved how they turned major to this little comedy romantic, i didn't think they could do it that good. goro sure was acted not as himself by finding his real emotions, as shimizu said, it's really not his style to be like this, however, i like it! i truly believe that his sentence that she make him excited more than 2 outs and 3 runners was really original phrase, i still can't believe they made this episode so good, i hope they will deliver more of this, i believe if those slice of life scenes will continue this season will be better than S1. i'm glad though that at the end of the episode things turned to back to the old major routine, kinda remind me the first episode of the seasons of bakuman concentrating more about the romantic than the rest of the series about the opening, i couldn't really find the song to be good mainly because i didn't found the op animation and the song synchronised, it's like they had the song but mix so much scenes from the season to look synchronised but not, i will say though that i found the song enjoying. |
| I personally think Komori resembles an otter more than a ray but oh well. Wholesome date and I love Goro's confession, shoutout to the friends who had to tell him straight up on Kaoru's feelings as that baseball nutcase would've otherwise still be oblivious. |

| So far, I'm liking how this season seems to be turning out. Surprised to see how much I am enjoying this as a romantic comedy, and had the confession done in the second rather than dragging it out thankfully. And I'm really liking this ED theme. Also noticed that ShoPro producer / former SynergySP board director Naohiko Furuichi is now being credited as a production manager rather than a producer and NHK Enterprises is being credited for production now rather than co-production. Wonder if that had any specific meaning. |
