| It was announced that manga "Initial D" will have a final TV anime season and an anime movie adaptation. The TV series will be named "Final Stage" and it will cover the Kanagawa match. This final battle in the Kanto Region pits Fujiwara Takumi against Inui Shinji, who will also drive an Toyota AE86 like Fujiwara. The broadcast schedule is not yet known; however, the new movie is due for theater release in Summer 2014. Initial D has been running for 18 years in Shuukan Young Magazine and was previously announced to end this month. Since 1995, 46 volumes of the manga have been published. Including the first TV anime adaptation in 1998, 5 seasons, 5 OVAs, 1 anime movie, and 1 live-action movie have also been made. The fifth season completed broadcasting this May. Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| YES. I want to see that match!! And I knew it. I saw that TV adaptation coming since it ended. I was right! :D I wish it will be as good as 4th Stage though. I didn't like the new character designs and animation as much in 5th stage. But I doubt they'll change it back. |
