| The upcoming issue of Shounen Magazine will announce a third TV anime season of "Hajime no Ippo" to air this fall, according to ANN. The 34th issue of the magazine will hit the streets on July 24th. The "Hajime no Ippo" manga started serialization in 1989 and 103 volumes have been published so far. Volume 104 will be released on August 16th. The two previous anime seasons broadcast in 2000 and 2009, along with an additional OVA and TV special in 2003. Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| YES YES Hopefully it's as good as the original series, the second season wasn't that great. Mainly the pacing and music. It will be sad without Utsumi Kenji though. I thought Miyake Kenta sounded just as good when replacing him as Zodd, I can imagine it working in this case too. We'll have to wait and see though -3- |

| I have the best God Damn timing ever! I just finally finished catching up with the anime last Saturday. And then I finally caught up with the manga just last Tuesday. I did NOT expect another season any time soon, and never cared much for the series- but after marathoning the manga, I couldn't get enough! I tried looking for a series that's similar to no avail. This is just EPIC news. Hopefully it'll turn out good. Can't wait :D But it kinda sucks that I'm have to wait so long. I don't really watch shows weekly, so ima have to wait till it's completed. Anyone know how many episodes it'll have? |
