 Novel author Hirasaka Yomi has announced on his official website that a live action film project of light novel Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai has been underway. Information of the project has been leaked by a recruitment ad for the extras of the film. He said the premature leak of the project was quite uncool and regretted a little about the decision about the film he made two years ago. However, he has been worrying about the future of the light novel market and expected that the live action film would bring new fans to the industry. He has been aware that many of Haganai fans object to the live action film, and he asked them "Please ignore what you don't like instead of attempting to disrupt it." Source: Hirasaka's statement |

| About S3 Judging from how long it takes her to finish 9th volume we have only 2 options: 1. Wait 2-3 years till there would be enough material 2. Hope that the novel would be finished on 9th or 10th volume and we'll get movie or OVA-series instead of S3 |

| This is going to suck dearly, and I like the anime, I understand Hirasaka's concern, the LN market is slowly stagnating, it's just Haganai is not the series to be adapting into a live action, there's a charm factor of seeing teenage and preteen anime characters having fun in a club, live action doesn't do any justice. A 1-2 hour anime movie would've done the series justice even if it didn't follow the LN. |

| Quite unexpected. I liked Hanaganai (though due to its mistakes I only gave it a 6), but I don't really know how to feel about this. I probably won't watch it though. Mainly because I can't see anyone doing a better job than Hanazawa Kana (Kobato) and Itou Kanae (Sena). Which reminds me, I should watch NEXT soon. Simply by being there, it will do it's job of raising the popularity meter. Maybe a few people will be interested in the anime and LN version, and that might cause them to buy and see how it really is. |

| Part of the charm of the show is that all the girls are extremely cute, which I doubt they'll be able to reproduce. The story itself isn't THAT good, specially when you take it out of its format. |
