| Adaptation of the manga is going well. Loving this. I understand there was fan-service in the original - but it feels like they're putting a bit too much of an emphasis on it. This is the only thing I'd change. |

You could tell Rea's zombie instincts were kicking in again.  Mero blushing was very cute. Grandfather :DD First serious and then hit by Wanko goes back to his crazy talk. I do wonder why Wanko hit him though. This seems like the first time him being serious about something. Rea needs to eat more of that flower's leaves, 'cause its effects wear off quite fast and she turns back into a mindless being. And as for Mero, I like in what she sleeps :D |

| Surprisingly, it's still good. It manages to put on this carefree mood, but, it doesn't kill the underlying drama and complications of being a zombie. It isn't melodramatic in handling the scenarios, I think the main protagonist's monologue is essential to his characterization, and development. Overall, really enjoyable. It's an ecchi comedy, but it's not purely that; the ecchi isn't overdone or obnoxious, and there is actual drama. It's not melodramatic, and it doesn't take the route of cheap sympathies. |

| wow, the grandpa having an ominously serious moment. i wonder how much else the grandpa knows rea's dad's creepy butler creeping on chihiro and rea seems like bad news coming up and talk about a cliffhanger :S looks like next ep will be about wanko and their childhood, so the cliffhanger might even have to wait 2 weeks |

 The anime really excels when its more of the serious route. When it turns to focusing on rea it just cant keep me interested. Feel pretty terrible but I like the Wanko/Furuya moments, feel more sincere than the ones with Rea. And Furuya was epic in this he like jumped from the roof to the ground with no injury at all! and endured that powerful throw later |

| this anime is going soooo slow its not even funny.. i understand because the manga isnt to far but man its worse than a turtle... and during that kiss i believed she was suppose to kind of bit his lip and transferred some of the poison.... from my understanding the mangaka is behind the anime aswell, cant believe he would leave stuff like this out.... |

Of course one could argue that any deviation from the original voudou created zombies (which were not dead/undead) is not a "real" zombie, but even within the popular culture version of the shambling, brain-munching, monster there is plenty of variation. Sanka Rea is not a HSOTD version, or a NOTLD version, or even a SOTD version of a zombie, she is unique to the vision of this manga/anime. The question is not whether she is consistent with other creators' versions of the reanimated dead, but is she consistent with this creator's universe. Keep in mind that this is not a world that is being overrun by legions of the red-eyed brain munchers. Instead the relatively small number of zombies appear to have been created by researchers like the grandfather or Furuya. I'm willing to accept that while digestion has slowed considerably, or even stopped, saliva and other useful bodily fluids (otherwise we may have to have a lubricant discussion) can be produced. Furuya now has a goal: to discover how to preserve Sanka Rea's body indefinitely. As the plot unfolds over this (and hopefully subsequent) seasons, that should provide enough of a reason for forward movement. If he succeeds, we'll then have to deal with the other problem of relationships between humans and the undead or supernatural beings, because while Sanka Rea may stay the same indefinitely, humans (alas) do not... |

| Beatiful in every second, I'm more than pleased with this adaptation, there were some great shots. I like Wanko and I'm looking forward to next episode when her character is going to be handled. I think it's a good choice to do it now, you could clearly see that she doesn't like the idea of another girl near Chihiro and on top of that living with him. |

| Getting a bit annoyed of wanko, she gets jealous too much. Rea was cute as she usually is and we got to see a kiss even though she never remembers it. Babu<3333 Dat strength when she saved Chihiro from the passing car. Wankos past next episode not really looking forward to it since she annoys me. Also question to everyone. How many episodes do you think this season will get? |

Sankarea excels when it address its major conflicts: Rea's father's obsession, Chihiro coming to terms with Rea's death, Rea coming to terms with her death. However, I feel the opposite--Wanko's lightness in the anime cheapens the value of this anime. Wanko always destroys the tension that builds up between Chihiro and Rea in the first half of this episode. Wanko is rather annoying. |

I hope we'll get to that point in the anime, as that marked the point where I started seriously disliking her. Any good side she has is immediately countered by her doing something incredibly dumb. Like her hitting the old man in the head, making him forget what he told Chihiro, for example. I personally deeply despise clingy girls like that. Plus, I don't find her all that pretty in the first place. Rea may be dead, but she is still several times more atractive than Wanko can ever (hope to) be (and that is probably another reason why Wanko isn't pleased with Chihiro's budding relationship with Rea). All Chihro has to do now is find out how to keep Rea's body from rotting away, not to mention find a steady source of hydrangea to help her get through the season(s) in which the flowers don't bloom. |

| Seems to me like Rea has a thing for flesh, there was just something about her when she was licking Chihiro. Oh and she looked so cute with her hair tied up. Looking forward to seeing her and Chihiro actually do something. More Wanko next episode? Sounds good to me. And this episode makes me feel bad for her, she's obviously just acting happy and stuff. Liking both girls atm. |
