| Finally an extra that's not really an extra with no real point, but an epilogue of some sort. It was really nice to see them all again. Okarin is just win as always (Daga otoko da!). Kurisu was sexy in neko-maid outfit :) And of course Mayushii was really cute, especially in the motel ;) Seeing Suzuha's mother (it was Yuki, wasn't she?) was also great. Too bad they didn't show the kiss between them though :/ Only the movie remains, but it will probably be only a shorter version of the series though. Anyway, this was a perfect ending for a masterpiece of an anime and one of my favorites. El. Psy. Congroo. |

| And both Okabe and Makise die in the desert together. And everyone lives happily ever after.....lol. Good episode that shows what happens after the series. Steins;gate is awesome! |

| This is one of the best OVA episodes I've seen for a series. Reminds me of how the Shiki and Baccano OVAs were really awesome too. |

| Probably one of the most satisfying ending scenes I've ever seen. The rest of the episode had some humor, but man that last scene was in a different stratosphere. |

| I had no idea there was an OVA. I really missed this show and the characters. Even an OVA like this was a great refresher. They don't like mad scientists in America much :( Hoouin Kyouma one of the best characters of all time! No kiss, but it was insinuated at least. I like the idea of them getting together. |

I actually liked that they ended it that way, she was going to kiss him just like she did on that other world line when he confessed and she told him to close his eyes so to see that reference being used was freaking awesome! Much better than just a normal kiss or she say I love you to. I do wish that there were more episodes...I just cant get enough of Steins;Gate. It is hands down the best anime I've ever seen! |

| The anime ends where the Visual Novel's true ends and it covers almost everything in the route. The OVA was an original in the sense that it wasn't based on any of the VN's script, which is good I think, since it was kind of a continuation of the series. But, even so I felt the OVA was a bit off. The comedy was a little overdone. The police were hauling Okabe away left and right for no good reason, Okabe was pulling stunts with the airport staff(he normally doesn't act that way with officials unless he has a good reason to do so). And the part about Rukako. I absolutely fail to understand his stage scene. In the VN, the part where Okabe rescued him from those photographers, apparently they lost interest and left when they found out he was male, but now suddenly a crowd consisting only of males is fawning over him while knowing he's a guy? Also, in the TV series, the characters would suffer 'psychological damage' whenever Rukako's gender was questioned. So, basically, this event was purely fanservice(for I can't imagine which audience) at the cost of realism. These points are actually minor details, and such things usually have little overall effect on a show(even though Steins;Gate is pretty famous for it's attention to detail). At any rate, they didn't take any big risks with the OVA, so all is well. I gave it a 9 (and the TV series a 10) because it still carried most of the charm that the TV series brought(along with a more complete end). |
