Pretty alright episode.
Ken disappears again but hey at least he doesn't hate Chiko anymore.
Also Tome and Chiko finally gain independence, though I doubt that will last. I would think that Chiko's aunt would go after her life again.

The way Tome won was a bit confusing. The aunt could have easily got the cops to believe Tome was feeding Chiko the poison so I'm not sure why she decided to do as Tome commanded. O well, it was an overall great episode.

True, but there's no proof. So neither one can get to each other. The aunt was the one who actually started the poison thing, so maybe she was intimidated a bit.

Glad everything worked out this episode. Can't wait till the next bit XD

I think its more of hte fact that the aunt killed her husband was killed the same way, via poisoning. So the police might re-open that case if Chiko does indeed die via poisoning as well.

Personally, I doubt the aunt will ever be anymore than a constant pest to Chiko, i.e., never turn into a really big enemy.

Either way, right now Tome's the legal guardian to Chiko, Ken's back on Chiko's side, and Nijuu Mensou is still roaming alive. Great news piling up, I'd say.

Me too... and 20 Faces too...

I'm surprised that an airship going down took the whole episode, and Tome probably would have been better off staying the house, protecting Chiko without the old lady knowing... but ah well.

Btw, haven't people learned yet that airships are just bad forms of transportation xD

Looking forward to next ep :)

Alright.. so 20 faces left and now Ken also. I don't know if it was a good thing for Tome to declare war to the mother. I guess we'll find out soon. Looking forward to the next episode.

A good plot-episode, with a good bit of action too, even if not the usual kind. I was a bit disappointed that the passengers were only knocked out, seemed a bit cheap, but the fact that -everyone- thought they were dead and were surprised helped a bit. Definitely looking forward to the next episode, as I want to see what's going to happen from here on.

When Tome confronted the aunt about the poison, the aunt tried turning it around as to say Tome was the one poisoning Chiko because she makes the meals. So then she said she could get the cops or just discharge Tome. Then some talking blah blah blah and the aunt opens the kettle, which contains pills (which she believes is poison that Tome put in.) So then Tome says if she's discharged she'll go right to the police, and if she stays she will 'whittle' away the aunt's life little by little with the poison. Thus, the aunt gives in to her demands. But then we see Tome holding two bottles of pills, so obviously the ones in the kettle weren't the actual poisoning, she just tricked the aunt.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what went down. Make a bit more sense now?

yup thats what happened. she acted as if she had been poisoning her already for a while. i enjoyed it very much, and it finally seems chiko is going to make her own path instead of chasing 20 faces. and i want to know what the 4th form of water is!!! maybe thats how 20 faces is able to survive everything.

The supposed '4th substance' is going to be crazy, it'll be interesting to see how that will play out.

In any case, i actually enjoyed this episode, although it is still nothing compared to what this show could have been.

And those FREAKING SOUND EFFECTS in the OP are seriously pissing me off.

While the OP's sound effect do indeed bug me a little I think the ED more than makes up for those. Kick-ass song, despite the Engrish.
Good episode, glad to see this seems to be going somewhere.

No I understand that perfectly well but at this part

the aunt opens the kettle, which contains pills (which she believes is poison that Tome put in.) So then Tome says if she's discharged she'll go right to the police, and if she stays she will 'whittle' away the aunt's life little by little with the poison. Thus, the aunt gives in to her demands. It makes no sense after the aunt just turned the thing in Tome's face by saying things like "So you where poisoning Chiko"..etc. So personally, all the aunt would have to do is kick Tome out to "protect her self". If Tome went to the police the aunt could easily turn the story around in Tome's face. The pill case has Tomes finger prints on it now anyway. So the whole ending part was just random to me.

It's probobly a bose einstein condensate.

Actually I hightly doubt that as water is just ice at those temperates- they're probobly talking about some "magical" plasma.

5th time that Nijuu Mensou died according to Ken! =P Also good to see that Ken and Chiko act like they used to in the past. Yay, Tome is Chiko's guardian. But if there's one thing sure it's that there are going to happen some bad things. I'm wondering when we'll see that woman and her FMA pal again.

There were huge inconsistencies in the plot, voice acting and even in the animation (especially the plans with both CGI and cellulos in it) in this episode, which is strange since I barely remember having seen one in the first half of the series... This episode felt really rushed and low-budget, but apart from that, this is turning really interesting now that Tome and Chiko are "free" from both the cruel mother and the fake father (nijuu mensou) and will start to do what they really want to do. Hopefully, Chiko won't chase Nijuu Mensou till the end of the series and actually start a detective business like in the ED ;)

I hope Chiko does her own thing from now on and stop chasing 20 Faces. I know it's part of the story but it's really getting old now. 20 Faces leave clue -> Chiko chases -> shit happens -> someone saves Chiko -> they still don't know what the f*ck is happening.

I assume that you're completely forgetting about Chiko herself. Before Tome was even in the picture, Chiko's aunt was already trying to poison her. A testimony from Chiko detailing the attempted poisoning, a testimony from Tome detailing the aunts orders to place the pills/poison in her food, and lastly the fact that the aunt herself killed her husband using the same method, would at the very least make the aunt look more suspect then Tome. Also in the case of the husband, assuming that the aunt was the one making and giving him his meals, as she did for Chiko, then I'm sure the other maids could attest to this fact.
Matsuoka Yoshitsugu has hardly any range as a voice actor, and is grossly over-cast.

Yeah. I said it.

Do these writers know why Zeppelins aren't used anymore? Because they used H2 which burns quite effectively. But yeah, those explosives did nothing.

Then Ken dives through that hole and when Chiko tries to the hole is suddenly half as big, lol. How bad can this get?

Even Hindenburg used helium but USA regulations forced the company to use H2 for it's last voyage.

The zeppelins are unpractical because they are highly dependable on weather.
The planes can fly above bad weather. They only need good departing/landing conditions.
Zeppelins must have suitable weather all the time. Also they are slow, that makes them more profitable for cargo, but that never became trend.

Hmyeah, you are right. In that case it wouldn't explode but I can't see it not burning down either way.

not burning down

I will go again with Hindenburg - two factors for it's demise: H2 and even worst - cheap easily ignitable paint.

If the zeppelin here has the proper paint and floats with helium the only flammable material are the fuel tank for the propeller engines...and they don't bust easily like in the movies.

But if you
