I just wanted it because, it looked fun to read and it looked like a comic. My FIRST manga I bought and saved money for is Beauty Pop volumes 5 and 8. So glad I bought them. I really love the series. |

| It's not the first I "bought" but the first copy of anything I got a physical copy of was volume 1 of GTO when it was first coming out in the US while I was a kid. My mom thought it looked cool and knew I was into "that anime stuff" so she got it randomly. The first I bought was probably volume 2, and from then I started being a buyfag with what little money a kid could manage to scrape up. |

| Disgaea 2, saw it on a shelf at a random F.Y.E. and had to buy that shit. I later found volume 2 somewhere else in another F.Y.E. still on the hunt for those last 2 volumes damn it. This slowly led to my eventual small collection that cost me so far around 400 dollars. I was kinda into anime before this, but really this was what really got me into it for some reason, not sure exactly why though. |
