THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This is episode 4.5, correct? With Nakajima-san's character? Nice duet between her and Yune. Seems like Claude and Alice's sister were childhood friend?? Not sure though. |

Especially if you see that Camille was first in the scene before they switch to adult Claude in the spoiler I for one liked the following, that was one heck of a revealing about Yune. It was pretty good. The songs sung were really nice too. |

Yune has a beautiful singing voice, her sing brought me to tears, not helped by the touching songs all of which I've heard before. Alice was in heaven when she was singing. 5/5 A lot revealed about Yune and the fact she has an older sister, seeing this, the tearjerker parts may be coming up soon in the TV series if you know what happened to the older sister. |

I read the manga so I can tell you this... you have to read chapter 6 of the manga yourself to find out. All I can say is that they used to be rather close until some things happened and they became distant after that. Liked this episode for the music. The ED by Nakajima Megumi is lovely. |

Man this episode was freaking amazing....the best i've seen of this series yet. Being able to hear Toyama Nao's singing and then followed by Nakajima Megumi's was pure bliss, the episode was also pretty sad at times...man they really nailed it this time. 5/5 for this episode and a 9/10 for this special...good job satelight |

Damn this anime is so epic, and the manga is too, im so in love *.* |

I wish they had followed the manga in this special...i hope to see chapter 6 animated, otherwise people that dont read the manga will get confused with Camille x Claude XD |

Good episode, fit quite nicely with the rest of the series. Now I want the OST! Unfortunately, the release failed to include any subs during the songs, including the dialog from the flashback with Yune's sister. And while it didn't bother me for the traditional songs, it would have been nice to see some translations for the songs with original lyrics. Oh well. I'll have to pick up the next release and watch that part again. Force me to listen to those songs again, woe is me! :P |

What a lovely hidden treasure among all the regular episodes. Bittersweet when the bohemian girl reveals her grandmother was Japanese and her grandfather had to leave her behind...then of course, we see Alice reflecting on such and what it means to her and Claude...interesting. Anyway, glad I saw the torrent and grabbed it despite having come out a few days ago. Just lovely...the songs especially. |

Even though this was an extra episode, it still presented plenty of backstory on Yune, Claude, and Camille. I thought the song playing during Claude and Camille's flashback was fitting, since they couldn't be together just like Anna's grandparents. I think this episode ultimately proves that many things can connect 2 vastly different cultures, like music. There's something to think about if you're listening to foreign music and other people around you are confused...but joking aside, this episode gets a 4/5 on here and an 8/10 on my completed anime list. |

This was pretty good, especially in the end with the insert song. Beautiful. |

I love the song played during the credits. The leads were like Yune(japanese) and Claude(foreigner) yet it seems to describe Camille and Claude's relationship. |

Oh look, Mugi-chan became a gypsy. Mamiko Noto singing was definitely the best part of the episode. Yune has a looooooooooooong way to go if she wants to reach her prowess. |

Awsome - and touching episode - Yune's voice is beautiful - brought me to tears. Gave us some more insight into her life back home - what happened to her sister? |

Starting with the opening theme playing over the actual episode, this made me feel like I was watching Aria. The show as a whole has been focus on introducing characters, cultural tidbits, and the daily happenings of Claude's sign shop that there hasn't been a chance to really slow down and enjoy the atmosphere of Ikoku Meiro no Croisée. For this one special, we got it. Music to introduce characters. Music to tell the story. Music to connect people and places. Music to connect time and cultures. Apart from the main series, this special was calm and mellow, lessening its cuteness to be more melancholic but quaint. Perhaps I just want to watch Aria, and this episode happened to be the most similar to Aria. Or, perhaps, I'm starting to understand what kind of show Ikoku Meiro no Croisée is trying to be. Or the special was made differently and was a complete fluke. Who knows. Regardless, I'm fully enjoying what I'm watching and hearing. |

That was a cool duet by Anne and Yune, they sure created magic with those Japanese songs. The story Anne told about her grandparents was touching though, damn those stupid eras. Cool voice by Yune though and I loved this ep. 6/10. |
