| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Seeing the episode I can already tell you all that I am in total love with Haruka's eyes in the following,  I love them a lot and in fact I loved even seeing this early Haruka while being a child in the spoiler Lovely scene it was with Ichinose/Haruka in the spoiler So girls, how excited are you for the guys in this series? I shall assume a lot. Well here is my take on them below. In the guys I like Ren a lot in the following,  no not because I may have gay tendencies and in fact I am quite a straight person but he is a guy I would strive for to have a appearance like him IRL. Usually I could with some gym going.
This series is like Hana Yori Dango and Ouran High School Club except it's a Idol school setting. It could be amazing or it could be at time boring/cliche whatever cons anyone may think of but it shall be fun and is a fresh concept. I mean a I-D-O-L S-C-H-O-O-L I did not see much of that at all recently. Skip Beat had something going on in that field but nothing of a school setup like this offers. Oh the juicy drama, oh the attempted sex stuff or somewhat stuff like that and most of all the romance! The struggles! The jealous rivalries. Bring them on! |

| Mamoru's songs were great and the OP video was so MOE! I love all character and seiyuu cast. Hope it doesn't turn like Starry Sky. For now it is 10/10 for me. :D |

| It was a fantastic episode. I really love the singing and etc. Nice song selection. The eyes are pretty scary for the females, actually the females look pretty terrible. Hijirikawa Masato and Itoki Otoya are my favorites. |

| Let me start off, I LOVE REVERSED HAREMS! Ouran, La Corda d'Ore, Fruits Basket, etcc. I go crazy over them! The bishes, the one girl and many guys, I LOVE IT.. For the past reversed harems I watched *cough* Hakuouki and Starry Sky, they were SUCH LET DOWNS!!! It really sucks waiting months for an anime to get released and then seeing its terrible and such a let down! CAUSE REALLY, Starry Sky was such a FAIL... IT HAD TERRIBLE ART, BARELY ANY ROMANCE, AND IT WAS JUST PURE VOMIT!!! NOW, moving on with this reversed harem.. IT STARTED OFF VERY CHEESY, with the fireworks and principal, the disco in the classroom.. Kinda annoying I was seriously about to drop this because I cant go through the feeling again of having my FAVORITE genre, reversed harem, turn out to be total crap! I was ABOUT to drop it, but then I heard Miyano Mamoru sing!!!! Then this episode ended up not too bad!!! I will keep watching, because I love dem bishies! This shows art aint bad either, compared to Starry Sky. PLEASE Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love 1000%!!! DONT LET ME DOWN!!! T__T I WOULD LIKE ANOTHER NICE REVERSED HAREM!!! Suzumura-san's character is different from the other characters he voiced (that I heard). lol @ that teacher who looks like female. | Well this show gives me a humongous Ouran vibe. I liked Ouran so that is okay. Those eyes will grow on my but for now creepy. Big fan of Nico Nico's streaming now. Also, awesome headmaster voiced by Mr.Awesome Voice, Norio Wakamoto. |

| I actually liked it. The music was fantastic. The opening concert was really immersive, it really felt like I was watching a real concert. A-1 Pictures high quality animation sparkled spectacularly here. Even if the characters are overblown stereotypes, they were stupendously camp, so I couldn't help but like them. The headmaster by the way is GAR! Looking forward to more. 7/10 *If the iDOLM@STER is going to be this fun/silly, I'm definitely looking forward to what A-1 Pictures has in store for us! | Pretty boring first episode. I probably shouldn't be watching this type of show but oh well, hopefully there's only 11 eps to go. | I didn't really expect much going into it but it's turned out pretty awesome. (and definitely way better than that huge let-down Starry Sky which looked more appealing than this at first but totally failed in everything else) Looks like you can already guess who she's going to be "going for" the whole series but it's fun to see the others struggle. lol Oh my, and yes there are some really nice voice actors in there. Not to mention the majority can potentially make some really good character songs etc. to go with this series, woot! (Though the headmaster's little stunt kinda disturbed me...aha...) |

I get where you're coming from but her eyes are down right freaky o_o; it looked as if her eyes are covered with really thick contacts ._.; I thought her char design was fine though, nothing special but its not terrible Miracle train lulz I didnt really enjoy that very much because I thought the plot was downright weird o_O Anyways back to my thoughts, the principal was EPIC like EPIC I actually loled when he started dancing XD (kinda hard to believe after that he went and did the evil principal act though >_>) I really like all the characterization for the guys though; all star male seiyuu casts too =o I especially liked Kurusu shou's design (and shimono hiro of course) Otoya seems to be uhh the typical super fresh ikemen >_> and the teacher was quite interesting in his....her....uhh...own way lol Im wondering if tokiya and hayato are twins and they have that whole twin difference shenanigans =o i like hayato's song X3 uhh despite this being a reverse harem i think i might keep this unless something terrible happens between the other 11 episodes lol |
| Oh gawd, DAT OPENING. I have never played the game, so I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I usually don't watch reverse harems or harems in general (Miracle Train was plain cheesy and Starry Sky was boring as hell) but this one was quite amusing. It's cliche and campy. But I don't mind the campy-ness one bit. |
| Overall, it was pretty cool, but I think I'm only watching it for the Niconico comments. It makes watching the anime a lot more fun (as long as you block the ones that annoy you). |

| Just watched it on NicoNico... not bad quality at all imo. I typically avoid streaming and stick to torrents... but it's subbed and it's there so why not? Overall, I was expecting something kinda shitty, and it was cheesy as hell, but it was a lot better than I expected (and a lot more interesting!). So far, with Sacred Seven, Ikoku Meiro no Croisée & this show, I am pleased with Summer 2011. Lets hope Blood-C/Kamisama Dolls don't f it up. |

| *sigh* I should've known the girl was going to be an annoyingly innocent character..as always. I at least would've liked her to have more of a defined personality, but I guess I can't complain since it's an otome adaption, at least her friend seems like a fun character. Oh well, the episode was full of cliches, but thats to be expected. Overall, it was a nice first episode. I also REALLY like the opening! Hopefully they won't pull a Starry Sky on us again :(( |

| I loved it already. All the guys are freaking good looking and it looks like it'll be interesting. Then again, I"m completely bias to reverse harems, so I'm pretty sure I'll like it. I picked my favorite guy before even watching it and I have to say that I'm glad I chose him. Tokiya Ichinose is hot and I love characters like him in general : ) Although I have to say that I also like Otoya Ittoki. Those two are my favorite already. Also, the songs were awesome, especially the opening. I'm just hoping she actually ends up with someone. |

| Woah, I must say I’m impressed. To be an otome adaptation, it was quite entertaining, especially for a first episode. Sure, clichés are everywhere; whoever expected otherwise could very well pass as a fool but it was actually funny. Well, character design was the biggest letdown, if you can call it that. Female character designs are poorer than expected —what’s with Haruka’s eyes?! They’re creepy— yet the guys are fine. And, man, ugly uniform design is ugly. Don’t they know how to use acceptable color schemes anymore, instead of trying to make a rainbow with the clothes?! The music was nice; I didn’t find it scratchy or horrid, as other songs had made me feel. It was hilarious, in fact! The songs came off as ridiculous, in a good way. Not much to say about the characters. Nothing was exceptional or terrible; at least they are decent and not extremely cheap —despite the obvious stereotypes they follow— which would’ve been much to bear. There are enough generic, insufferable personalities out there. [I’m surprised SuzuKen is doing a character like Masato, much more with such voice. It sounds practically nothing like him.] We already got an idol-trap and insane, flashy Principal, whose sudden appearance was beyond priceless. “LOLOLOLOLOL.” was all that crossed my mind, really. So, it ended up being much better than expected. If it keeps up the humor, it may give me a lot of lulzy moments. And here I was expecting to keep watching just because of Sawashiro Miyuki. |

I've waited so long to see another good reverse harem and I've been let down with Hakuouki and Starry Sky and dare I mention Yumeiro Pâtissière. I waited, gather pictures and fantasized about Hakuouki because the guys were gorgeous but then it started airing....yeah I cried. I want another Saiunkoku, Hanasakeru Seishounen, La Cordo Passo, Harukanaru, Fruits Basket and Ouran right now! These were some good shows that they have been failing to replicate lately. I hope this one isn't a total bust because I can't take it anymore!!! Anyway with the dance number and the goofy principle I thought this one was also going to be silly but I was pleasantly surprised to find myself liking the guys even though they weren't really given much introduction time beyond a name and character trait. They are cute and funny and some are even mysterious which I like. (I don't like the singing especially the part when her idol does it.) It reminds me of the bl anime Marginal Prince and that can get cheesy at times. I'm aware this is an Idol anime but I hope they intend to have a strong story if they plan on including the singing/dancing part. I'm giving this show a shot don't let me down! ^_^ (I'm not going to comment on the girls demon possessed eyes that make her look like a satanic blind chick. lol) |

| FUCKING WAKAMOTO NORIO HELLZ YEAH. Well..this...actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be. The ending gave it some momento for an actual plot me thinks. And the songs are....catchy. Although I don't appreciate them throwing out like 5-6 of the dudes on the MC right off the bat. That's totally stupid. "OH HAI I JUST MET YOU BUT THAT'S COOL. I LIKE YOU." That sort of thing is just too stupid. Even if..it wasn't implying it for EVERY boy they showed. ....We'll see how this turns out B| |

There are a lot of boys from where you can chose....but somehow I already know who's gonna be my fav bishie!!! I like it how the main girl its not a clueless, clumsy girl how it ought to be in reverse harem, one point for this!!! (bonus) expecting better and better for future episodes... |
| The OP was LOL xD the boys were dancing and singin and the face expressions lol im sorry but i laughed all the way through! haha I've taken a liking to this show. Its somewhat different from the usual were all the guys show up one by one or so. This kinda went all out and showed them (most) in 1 episode. I really like Otoya Ittoki & Shou Kurusu!! I guess im just the typ to go for the out going and fun type but Shou's hat was unusual for anime guys hehe! And its cool how the OP is the future them (if im not wrong) kinda gives you the idea and also tells u shes pretty much gona become famous or something like that From the ED you pretty much tell who she's gona end up with. I mean it can change but i think it's either Tokiya or Otoya but i could be wrong. I wish this OTOME game would be in english....they taunt us -__-. But overall this is going pretty well for the first episode. I hope this is gona turn into an interesting series:) |

| I'm not an avid fan of harems in general but this looks pretty promising first episode it doesn't seem to have a clear plot at this point but introducing the gaggle of bishie eye candy which is fine (i don't really mind haha) I personally love the excessive looking uniforms and character designs (derp some of the girls could have been better) i think they're what set the colorful sense of the series artwork and atmosphere. I'm impressed at the quality of animation too, much smoother than what i had imagined especially in the opening sequence. |
