| love the series :D btw they talked at the last episode in the preview that they were about to meet Menma's father, but it didn't happen in this episode. definitely next one :P it's good to see Jintan working, and those 2 shit heads really can go fuck off, don't you dare mock Naruko you assholes. funny how Naruko slips and just casually talkes to Jintan like they used to. that silly Yukiatsu trying to ask Tsurumi casually XD Jintan working hard, very surprise it took him this long. must be nice to have a father like that :P Menma's mother feeling Yandere towards Jintan or what!??! XD next episode, we get to see Menma's father!! |

| That opening scene with Jinta and Anaru ;) I'm really liking their moments together like when he cheers her up at the store and she unknowingly calls him "Jintan" instead of Yadomi. But I'm a sucker for romance so what can I say. Yusaka is keeping the wishes of Menma by not telling Jinta about her arrangement to meet up that day. I never thought of him as a bad guy so I won't say this was redeeming but it certainly made me like him a lot more. I'm not really understanding why Menma's mom wouldn't want Jinta helping out. Maybe she blames him for what happened. Frankly that whole end scene with Menma's mom was a little creepy. Oh and I was fighting back tears again when Menma sees how hard Jinta is working for her. I LOVED that they showed the flashback to him scolding her from last episode twice - when Anaru said he helps others and when Menma sees him at his job. This is going to be another anime that sharpens my perspective on life (just like Clannad). I haven't said this before but I'm really fond of the OP and I like the ED as well. Oh and Menma's other scenes were soooo cute :D |

| Anaru x Jintan, a nice touch in the beginning, and LOL to Poppo when he said "beef curry retreat" XD. Time to make Menma's wiish come true with fireworks. Well it became a halt in the end about Menma's mom, which is weird when she called her one-chan... |
| Ouch, dat ending... Menma mom seemed extremely bitter with that last phrase. I guess she consider Jin-tan and his gang responsible for her death. What I think that happened is that Menma falled in the river while running after Jin-tan, so if Jin-tan hadn't flee, she consider that she would still be alive. That scar never healed and will probably never heal... Anyway, I don't think that those firework are Menma wish. It seem, well... too simple? What about that reunion? Why was Jin-tan there if he wasn't supposed to be there in the first place? What really happened? There is too much unknown clues. That wish is also way too vague. Why don't they read further in the journal. I think they are working on something useless, or at least, useless for Menma. Though, maybe it will bring them closer. Also, I said it in my first few episode post, could Menma wish was that the gang never separate or something like that? If that's the case, they are still far away from it. Anaru and Jin-tan relationship is adorable :3 The way she became all red because she noticed she called him Jin-tan and the smile she made after was way too cute xD |

| I don't think the fireworks thing will work, but it's nice to see Jintan working. Anaru started calling him "Jintan" again too, so I guess that's a plus. I still think Tsuruko and Yukiatsu seem pretty close. Menma got better at cooking. I guess she took Tsuruko's advice. Menma's mom is waaaay too suspicious. I thought so before, and this episode only solidifies my opinion. The episode started to feel like it was dragging, but it was good overall. I guess I'll stop marathoning for now. |

| "Beef Curry, Retreat!" I love Poppa so much in this episode. He always lightens the mood with his laid down comic relief personality. I am so angry at Menma's mom. They worked so hard for making Menma's wish a reality and Menma's mother has to ruin it. What is her problem? What a killjoy baka! Is it me or there's something romantic going on between Yukiatsu and Tsurumi? Tsurumi paused when Yukiatsu asked her if she wants to go with him for tea. Something is telling me Tsurumi was thinking about something else than drinking tea, hurhur. This has to be the most serious episode so far, and I'm loving all the characters, even Yukiatsu when he's not being a jealous douche to Jintan :) |
