It was really simple, and, I believe, was purposely dumbed down for Jump's readers. The story was good though, and the characters were easily likable. I really hope next time Kishi makes something a little more deep and complex. I didn't like feeling like a 5 year old that was finally given readable material. |

I really hated the first half, I was forcing myself not to immediately drop my reading. The match was bad, but not horrible, which made it far better than the first half in my opinion. |

It was predictable, and pretty shounen-ish, but I can't say I didn't enjoy it still. |

Aha, regarding the funny noses; I just convinced myself that they were all wearing sunscreen ~lulz~ That way I wasn't so distracted by them, rofl. Other than that, it was good. Quite a few funny moments >w< |

5/10 Once again Kishi blessed us with a generic and uninspired plot. |

Cliche by all means regarding sports, but then again it is sports, so it really has to be cliche and generic to some point, I also expected them to have their previous pasts of greatness, regain passion, and so on. Im a big baseball fan so im a bit lenient on this, I certainly enjoyed this more than any recent Naruto chapter. But most important thing about this chapter is, that Hideaki Soreachis next one shot was announced, now that im looking forward to. |

The noses irked me a bit at first too but I quickly got used to them. I'm not one to frown on different aesthetic touches, even though they are a bit different from the norm. Plot was okay and it shows a bit of promise if continued. Nothing that really breaks the mold, but it actually made me interested in baseball a little, so it's doing something right in my books. Not great but not too bad either. |

Although I like the sports genre in general, I didn't like this oneshot. I found it boring. |

Definitely the best one shot released in this Jump series. It's the only one thats actually been a....you know. One shot. Instead of being the start of something that feels like series. |

So there are 6 one-shots by different authors in total. I have read "Bankara" already as well so I'll be interested in getting to the rest. |

It was a nice read, despite it being nothing too special. I liked how there was an ex-ace in Team D and also how one of them ended up being a really good batter, he just stopped being good because of bad eyesight, lol. That's actually pretty unique, I think. The story was definitely very shounen. Being a Shounen Jump fan since he was young, Kishi really understands the essence of the shounen genre. That's what made this a good read, imo. I can also understand how people felt that this was boring or unoriginal. |

Aww, this story is so bitter-sweet. I like the plot. Way to go Team D! *proud mama* 7/10 I seriously adore Kishi's one shots and I hope he can create even more. Tell whatever you want but he's actually quite adorable in his own way. |
