| Normally, if you live if the U.S., it's probably common to do indirect kisses, people probably never think about it when sharing a drink with a random friend. But after watching so much anime, you start thinking about it more... Would you share your bottle/can drink or w/e with a friend? What if that friend was the same gender? Random opinions/thoughts about the subject are fine to share. |

| I prefer not to share beverages. I generally only will if someone else is desperately thirsty and does not have access to any type of beverage, and then I usually just donate it. I'll only share if I am desperately thirsty as well. The odds of me sharing/donating my beverage also go up if the other person is female. I don't share food. I will, however, donate some if someone else is starving. |

I give drinks to people who bloody black washes or leaves marks on the rim of the cups, it's disgusting. Anyways, I'll pretty much share anything. Pretty common here, some people even take bites out of each others sandwiches here, nobody really cares. Most don't lip it when scabbing a few sips worth from a can, though some do - and I don't really care if they do. I share drinks with a few girls too, most are fine with it - some are sensitive about it because I'm a guy though (even if my lips don't touch the bottle), I don't really see the problem unless I'm back washing etc :S |
| I've never really cared about the whole "indirect kiss" thing. I always thought it was some thing Japanese girls made up to satisfy their romantic feelings, or what have you. I share drinks and utensils and pizzas with people at lunch all the time, regardless of gender. The only thing I worry about is getting an illness, though these are usually healthy people, so...... |

| My Mother's side of the family is Italian everyone kissed and hugs each other. I never really though it was strange. As for sharing drinks I used to do with with friend in high school all the time until almost all my friends ended up with Mono one year. Kissing was uh...imported to Japan so it is a more recent concept for them so maybe that is part of the big deal. |

I don't think most countries outside of Japan think like they do in that regard, and even then it's maybe only in anime/manga. I've never been there but I would be surprised if people in real life in Japan would be so self-concious about stuff like that. Doing it with strangers though is a whole other thing then doing it with friends/family. I would think twice before sharing a drink or something else with a stranger... |

| Don't mind indirect kiss...never thought about. Man merely 1 month ago i was on the birthday-party of my cousin. We drank so much that i don't remember half of that day...But what i remember is that probably all of us shared drinks and cigarettes. Only a few of my familiymember mind it. |

| I would prefer not to share drinks but if I do, I do think 'indirect kiss' sometimes but only cause of anime, I don't think it's an indirect kiss myself. An indirect kiss would be more like someone kissing something and then another person kissing it in the same spot. Sharing saliva does not relate to kissing all the time, that's stupid. And people talking about sharing saliva being disgusting...a LOT more saliva is exchanged during an actual kiss [with tongues, of course], and most people don't find THAT disgusting.....why? |
