| The artwork resemblence to Fairy Tail and Hiro Mashima is obvious here. There's even a similar vibe with the character personalities. They actually managed to introduce the main cast (at least shown so far) already here. There's also the gimmick of farming added rather than guilds. But hey, it still has the friendship themes and there's a lot of lighthearted humor. Ten definitely reminds me of Natsu from this episode. Others..we'll have to see how they'll develop along with the story. |

| Based on Marvelous's game of the same name (which released very recently in November 2024 to lukewarm reviews) and with character designs by Fairy Tail author Hiro Mashima. I felt that this tried too hard to be yet another imitation of the more popular Rune Factory franchise (also published by Marvelous). I wasn't expecting Asian Kung-Fu Generation with such a calm, toned down OP song, but it fits. Sokoninaru's ED is alright An RPG and a farming simulation game all in one, the land of Felicidad along with its inhabitants of the Farmagias of MC Ten and his fairy of Lookie-Loo, Chika, Lei and peeps sure reeks that of Natsu, Happy and the Fairy Tail gang. And to be fair, it is really just the complete package of a game setting that's just one more avenue that Hiro Mashima can stake on making his usual tropes work well. Even the Erza imitation with the antagonists of the generals of Oración Seis (which is referenced in Edens Zero), who govern the other continents on behalf of Felicidad's ruler, the Magus Diluculum, and leading the pack is Avrion's noble-minded ruling general Nares thwarting Felicidad's lands, only for Ten to fight back. It's Hiro Mashima in a package alright, do what you will on that one. |

| What is with the obnoxious yelling their head off "I am going to be powerful" characters? They don't add anything but annoying noise to the show and they are not likable characters. [correction, only Asta from Black Clover was fun in this regard ] Such an interesting concept of growing monsters to magically connect too, but we only saw a couple minutes of it's potential. This anime rushed by super fast, it seems almost too fast, since we didn't get a look at what life was like under the old Magus or find out who he was. At this point, it seems like a murder, as well as a coup d'état, with the annoying "only the powerful should rule by force" scenario. What is with those types of people, it's like their brain and heart died at the same time. If all other rulers are in agreement, then they are a bunch of blind and deaf pupils, never learning from the former Magus. ________ And to all those people calling it a rip off or copy of other anime, basically all media are influenced by media that came before, so you could almost call all anime copies of former anime. What really matters is the main story they tell, whether it is well written or not. So don't judge it on 'surface level similarities' to other anime, judge it on whether it is a good story or not. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

| Just saw this on a whim since i heard Fairy Tail's studio is gonna be animating this, and not a bad first episode. Excited to see what our MC gonna do with these dogs in the upcoming episodes. |

| Well, this was clearly made for us Mashima fanboys, to keep up distracted and satisfied until 100 Years Quest returns in a couple of seasons. And who knows, maybe this is just the first cour and this will also get a second part three months after it ends. |

| Nakajima, Griffon Kato, Tanchimo - I just love that "Rave Master" is still getting references almost 20 years after it ended. I wouldn't be surprised if Plue comes around the corner at some point. 😅 Otherwise, you've said almost everything. Although Hiro Mashima seems to only be doing the character design here, it still feels like a Mashima series. Haru / Natsu / Shiki / Ten is the daredevil protagonist with jagged hair - the only difference being that this time he's not too overpowered from the start, but is even called a "wimp". Ellie / Lucy / Rebecca / Arche is the brave blonde protagonist who accidentally gets naked Muscia / Gray / Weisz / Lei is the protagonist's friend and rival at the same time, which leads to crazy discussions and fights. So far, so Mashima. But I kind of like the fact that his series, similar to Rumiko Takakashi, are all connected in some way and have countless cross-references. A bit like a universe of their own in which various intertwined stories are told.  (Image Source) The only one I haven't warmed to yet is Lookie-Loo, who is strangely called "Glotzbert" in the German translation. I liked Happy, Plue and Pino better. But maybe that will take a while. Apparently the whole thing will be over in 12 episodes (I would have expected 24 episodes based on the adventure setting, but the video game only seems to have 12 "chapters"). In any case, I'm excited to see where the journey takes me. Man, Fridays are really my busy anime day: Guild Receptionist Alina, The Pharmacist, "Married To A Girl I Hate", "Welcome To Japan Elf-San" and now Fairy...er, Farmagia. In order to prepare for the approaching exam period, a few titles will have to be dropped for the time being. Hopefully Farmagia will prove worthy of not being one of them |

| Nice to see that even in the alternate bizarro farming dimension, Erza is still best girl. Poor Happy got the worst other self though. That is some ps1, monster rancher knock-off level of design right there. I couldn't place a counterpart for Chica and Anzar. We either need to see more from them or maybe they are just farming dimension exclusives. I went into this blind, so the parallels were amusing. I don't know how long I will keep up with this series, but I guess I might as well give it a couple more episodes. @Wrathberry84 Well, he is copying his own work. | It feels like I was sent back to 12 years ago, when I was watching Fairy Tail. The characters look very similar, we’ve got a Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Wendy, Happy, Erza.. even the fan service. I just feel that the anime direction is not good, feels like a simple animation that came straight from the original source, the scenes are too short and not deepened enough. Also, there’s a bit of explanation about everything, but seems rushed, so even thought that there’s enough info to understand the start of the anime, it gives a feeling that it’s still messy and confusing. The CGI is… well.. I’ve seen many ugly CGIs over the years, so it’s ok. But the story doesn’t seem that appealing.  |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| As someone who's never watched Fairy Tail or Eden Zero, this was actually good I bet all the bad reviews come from people who's watched Mashima's other works The show feels generic, but fun. It's one of those where you turn your brain off and just enjoy |
