LOVED THAT CHAPTER! Banter in the tub between Yoru and Asa was extremely hilarious and I thought the bar of soap turning into a blade was honestly not only amusing but aesthetically pleasing as well. It rivaled the pieces of both CSM action panels, spread of CSM v Yoru, and THE FUCKING EXIT of war devil's "children". I had a lotta fun reading this one. It might sound random or like I'm pulling it out my rear end, but something about this chapter had a part 1 feel about it. Don't get that twisted I'm one of the people who's loving pt 2 rn, but perhaps it was the way the humor mended itself to the random badassery that reminded me of part 1. |

| it's vaguely implied but the Gun devil that Yoru is using has to be the 28%-odd body soviet union got after the treaty while Tank devil is in possession of US (looks like an overseas US military type base)....both summoned simultaneously because of their close geographic proximity towards their "mother", War devil this chapter again strongly reiterates that all the weapon devils (hybrids) including guns, tanks, nuclear weapons and even CHAINSAW are all related to Yoru and perhaps could even trace their origins back to her, the embodiment of war. I'm aware that not EVERY weapon here were specifically used for warfare or were originated for such purpose but most got used in such ways eventually. There's also that plot-thread on how pochita ate some of her powers which may have resulted in the formation of the hybrids as their original names were lost.... something along that line!! |
