| Welp, action is back on the screen again featuring Andy and Fuuko. Their fightings style didn't change much but damn, their opponent gave a run for their money. Akira is no joke although it's his personality that sells his character really well in the episode. Well fought battle for Andy and Fuuko though. They proved themselves again. |

| I'm really excited that we got to see UMA Autumn; it's my favorite design out of all the seasonal UMAs we've seen so far. On a bench in Stanley Park, Canada, Andy and Fuuko waited anxiously for Anno Un. Suddenly appearing behind them, Anno Un addresses them cautiously and says they know what they want to know, but adds that they won't tell them for free and tells them to show them the best ending, one they don't know. At that moment, a man's scream echoes from the forest. Shaking off Anno Un's attempt to detain her, Fuuko runs towards the newly appeared UMA, Autumn. After just one episode, I'm already loving Anno Un. They ooze out this mix of menace and ease that I find utterly charming. Their knack for negation, which they've named Unknown, seems to allow them to erase others' knowledge—a power that's a little unsettling. It's funny how they say "never meet your heroes," and in this case, it's proven true once again. When Fuuko pulled out the gun, I was half expecting her to confess she'd taken the editor hostage. I can't help but wonder how Anno Un managed to gain such an intimate understanding of the future. Aside from the pen artifact they use for drawing, there aren't many clues about their other abilities. And that pillar... It makes me wonder just how long Andy, or should I say Victor, has been around. |

| I thought that I missed an episode or something in the beginning. That was UMA Autumn I assume. Also it took me way too long to realize that Kimi ni Tsutaware is a parody of Kimi ni Todoke (the titles basically mean the same thing). I haven't watched that yet, but will shortly before season 3 airs. WAIT THE NARRATOR WAS ANNO UN THIS WHOLE TIME LMAO THIS IS GENIUS I'm liking the OP more and more. It's probably spoilery as hell, but eh. I've never heard of Poutine before actually. Seems delicious. Anno Un is a veeery interesting character. That was one long flashback again... Lmao that book. Just how many loops were there in total? Suuuper excited for Andy/Victor's backstory next episode. Next episode title: Memento mori (Latin for 'remember that you [have to] die') is an artistic or symbolic trope acting as a reminder of the inevitability of death. Ironically fitting. |

| Wasn't a big fan of the CGI spiders, but Autumn at least has a cool, creepy design. Anno Un being confirmed as the narrator is really a nice detail, he even went to the serious voice of the beginning. I wonder how this will go with only 4 episodes left. Will be enough to end this arc? |

| Another good episode marred by flashbacks but fuck it we move lol. We should be used to this by now. The scene of the book bursting out of the guy’s face is some major nightmare fuel.. but other than that, meeting Anno Un and finding out he’s the narrator of the story was a nice bit of lore. Definitely a cool character. UMA autumn and the spiders were really cool too. This next arc is shaping up to be fun. Not sure how much of it we’ll actually get though with only a few episodes left.. Also how the hell did I just realise that manga is a Kimi ni todoke parody lol |

| Well well well, look at the beginning sequence tho. Fuuko should've died here. But luckily unknown-gender Sensei coming out of the orange nuances, to rescue them. Even if its mean sensei needs to sacrifice their left arm. Idk the true nature of our narrator ability here. A negator or an Artifact bearer, or even both since they can teleport and hold that drawing tool. Whatever that was tho i don't need to be worried about Sensei. Retreat, retreat! Let's learn more about Andy past first and do some training arc for Fuuko before entering up the Autumn arc as the final of this first season cour of Undead+Unluck. Shall i? |

| They need to stop with making the first quarter to a third of the episode a recap, it's really messing with the pacing of the anime and killing the enjoyment. Just before things get good with this episode and Unno An actually training them, it's already the end of the episode and now we have to wait till next week. |

| @IdkWhatIShouldDo Well I could explain but it would be spoilers for who Anno Un really is, so we'll just have to wait until the anime reveals it. But since their whole point is there's so much mystery around them, it makes sense that they go by neutral pronouns, leaving a sense of ambiguity. |

| Anno Un sure has an unusual ability. But casually cutting your arm off? Ow. I wonder if that book is only for Andy or also Victor. I assume both. Why it's so long is since he kept reliving the earth being destroyed over and over so he must be way older than I had originally thought he was at the beginning of the series. Not sure if when the world is remade if it goes through a real millions of year history or if it just creates fake evidence of a past. Either way Andy is ooooooooooold. Japanese rarely ever use second person pronouns so it makes things hard for translators and it's pretty common in English for when a person's gender or sex isn't known about to use "they/their" so at least for the earlier part of the episode before anyone ever heard or met Anno Un so that isn't out of place at all at least up to that point. I checked how Anno Un speaks and "boku" was used for first person pronoun which is a boyish manner of speaking. This implies Anno Un is either a guy or a tomboy which doesn't help the subbers unless something is explicitly stated in the manga that would tell them how to address Anno Un. There has been cases of translators just assuming what pronouns to use then winding up guessing the characters's gender or sex wrong so I can see why some will try to skirt around the issue if they don't have contact with an author. |

| The beginning of he episode caught me by surprise. Omg this whole time the Narrator voice was Anno Un aka Unknown. I just realized from hearing Anno Un laugh, that was Yumi Uchiyama Rudeus from Mushoku Tensei and also Pack from Re Zero. Holy shit the amount of Books from Andy is ridiculous LMAO |

| Juiz wearing shades and a suit looks proper badass on her. It gives off the vibes of a strong leader, so this outfit is a great fit. =) Anno certainly left a good impression on me now, especially the fact that Anno is also the narrator that we hear from previous episodes as well as this one. Anno's age and gender is unknown as of now, but either way, I was entertained with how they interacted with Fuko and Andy at the meeting point in Canada. Not only that, but it was rather cool with how Anno chopped off their left arm and created Andy's arm during the short battle against UMA Autumn. As of now, Autumn can't be beaten until Andy and Fuko go through a proper training arc. With Juiz's permission, Anno recreated Autumn's arm and used it on Andy, which turned him into a pile book that literally enters space itself. Good luck reading all of that, Fuko! XD Either way, it'll be interesting to know more about Andy's past, as well as Victor if it goes as far as that. |

| Episode was pretty good, but it definitely felt like not a whole lot happened, though Andy's past mini arc is next and that is one of the more interesting and sad arcs, so having that happen next is pretty hype. Also Fuuko eating a poutine without a fork was un-immersive as shit though, and as a Canadian I cringed a little bit NGL. |
| It's sad that the Fuko gun manga panel has been censored (for obvious reasons), replaced by Andy showing up, and we finally get to know who Anno Un all this while is, apart from her bring the narrator from the start. Andy and Fuko meeting the Kimi ni Todoke-inspired author Anno Un in Stanley Park, Canada, And she knows about them both, because she's also a Negator in some sense, whom also knows about UMA Autumn as well. But who she really is, both Andy and Fuko can only defeat UMA Autumn to know about her. UMA Autumn's goal is to find people that can turn into interesting stories and try as much that Undead and Unluck can do tbe job, none is as prevalent as Anno Un being like Billy to copy one ability and make it her very own. In the same way, Anno Un training the both of them to get up to speed with their teamwork, it's essential to accept her training, being turned into books and figuring out their past. Turning to books to grow strong? That's the reading plot! |

| Sure, Anno Un is the narrator. Was obvious from the last episode. She does know a lot.. really lot I mean, but I don't think we'd get to know how, in this season at the very least. Training arc is what they're terming this thing, but reading THAT MUCH isn't humanly possible, even for Fuko lol. But yeah I mean Andy has lived for years now, so the excessive quantity makes sense. By the way, who would've thought UMA autumn will be a spider sort of thing lol. |
