| A trip to the hot springs meant this episode had the most fan service compared to others. But at the same time, at least the cast got some relaxing time even though this is an investigation. Megumin's skill continues to improve, at least for her explosion magic. I also kinda like Cecily's presence in this show and she's getting more screen time. |

| Yunyun joins the Axis Church's fray with Megumin and Cecily...and Father Zesta is just being himself lols, what a political fight for an election. Yunyun easily feels regret over coming to Arcanretia to bear witness to this atrocity, but there is no time, for Cecily must prove Father Zesta's innocence. And one area to start is the hot springs filled with jelly slime, though it quickly pins the blame on the knights accusing Zesta, lead him to be released. But still...he's such a boob-loving siscon. The truth of the matter is that the problem is not solved, and Arnes is here not just to take Chomusuke away, wha a bold appearance on the streets of Arcanretia. Turns out, Father Zesta also has acclaims to his name, not just the head of the Holy Order of Axis, identifying that Arnes is behind this propagation despite her looking for Wolbach. Oh well, since this commotion doesn't affect both Megumin and Yunyun, the former is off onwards to Axel to find the explosion magic woman, and despite Yunyun heading to the same location, it's clear that she'll be stalking Megumin from behind. Looks like Megumin interacting with Father Zesta isn't all for naught: the reward from the recruitment process being the cost covering trip to Axel, and Yunyun will always try to skirt her way through to make sure that she doesn't leave Megumin's sight. Staying for an extra night before leaving for Axel with fanservice, and Cecily's information about the slime jelly, it's all on Father Zesta and nothing to do with Arnes. The priest intentionally sticking close to the loli, and true to Earth that Megumin can execute her exposition magic to create bigger open-air baths, this is one moment that she can't afford to miss. Though they didn't get to see Aqua this time, Father Zesta bestows her Blessing onto Megumin, and Cecily gives her more recruitment forms for hopes that the people in Axel would convert...NO WAY IN HELL. The wayward journey to Axel, and the party that she so hopes that'll benefit her, it's the same journey to elsewhere. Onwards to Axel! |

| The father hasn't even been gone for that long and yet his role is in the process of being taken gosh these guys work fast. Sabotage via slime odd way of causing damage by the devil king. Though sketchy beyond words the father at least has good reactions and spells to defend himself with. You know if Cecily didn't have that devious personality of hers that she would be a perfect priestess. Well at least this arc is finally finished. |

| Bruh WTF were those promises that the nominee made in the beginning?! I guess nothing gets lewder than the Axis cult... I'll unironically miss Zesta and Cecily. They were really funny. I need to go back and watch the first 2 seasons of KonoSuba. I don't remember if they were in the anime before or not. Next episode, Megumin and Yunyun are on their way to Axel. No teleportation this time. |

| So Zesta was the culprit, but was more a case of like making mustard gas by accident, so he was cleared by the lie detector. I want to be as articulated Zesta was talking about Arnes. Zesta is an arch-priest, no doubt. Was good to see Cecily's Konosuba FD ultimate. |

| At this point is cameos is the only thing saving this spinoff from being pointless. And that isn't a good thing. I was hoping for some type of plot but it is pretty barebobes. |

| At first it appeared Zesta was a villain, and then he was proven innocent, and then it was revealed he did it but he’s not working with demons lol. I knew he seemed too goofy to be evil, and he’s unironically one of the funnest characters in the show so far, the man takes over completely when he’s in a scene and has said some wild shit lol, really enjoyed him. Cecily was also fun, Megumin definitely gave her a show and a half tho with that nude explosion lol, and I fear what she may have done to Megumin after she passed out but I guess all is good since it wasn’t touched on lol. And now we’re on a wagon train for the 2nd time in this series, I wonder if anything will go wrong this time. |

| Seriously, is no one else bothered by the soundtrack/audio of this series? They keep repeating the same 2/3 generic tracks over and over, cutting from "whimsical" to "serious" track with absolutely zero transition, not adding any audio cue to enphasize the jokes, etc. It's so jarring to me. This sounds like (pun intended) the work of one underpaid intern, not a professional team. |

| Reminder that despite its notoriety, the Axis Cult is one of the stronger politic faction in Konosuba world, and the Demon King and his faction actually fears Arcarentia more than the Kingdom itself (for many reasons XD) Putting that aside: this is how you write. You can do serious stuff woven behind comedic narrative. it doesn't have to be new; It just has to be interesting. |
| Ya think we kinda sped through the second volume which I spose makes sense since they're gonna wanna use all the time remaining for the final volume. Might be misremembering tho and some of the caravan bit was actually in volume 2. |

| man it was so funny to see how all those things we saw in konosuba when kazuma and party came to visit arcanteia came to be. the way of gathering followers, even the bath lol. and yunyun still doing everything to stick with megumin haha. megumin described her preferred party type and those 3 immediately came to my mind. great episode. 5/5. |

| Zesta somehow got away with it, even though he WAS at fault due to a mix-up that he did. Either way, the way that he berated the lady who arrested him was hilarious! XD Not only that, but when Arnes, the demon girl, arrived and, once again, tried to take Chomusuke away from Megumin and Yunyun, Zesta, Cecily and the townsfolk all hounded her with verbal insults and attacks to the point that Arnes flew away, crying. She might be evil, but I did feel sorry for her a little bit. The whole episode itself was really funny overall. Now we say goodbye to Zesta and Cecily as Megumin and Yunyun make their travels towards the town of Axel. Judging by the preview of the next episode, it should be another funny one. =) |
