| I don't operate any social media accounts. Therefore, that extends to Twitter and there is a net zero change for me. I didn't use it before (either before Musk's recent acquisition or before the change governing these tags) and I didn't and won't use it after. This kind of thing has become more and more a prevalent problem in many online spaces though due to their persistent need to pander and cave in to the fancies of advertisers. It makes one feel wistful with pangs of regret when thinking back to how the internet used to function and serve as this kind of cyber Wild West whereas now so much of it has been sanitized into a sterile nursery and little more than an ad exec playpen. |

Still it's become a more welcome platform for extreme right wing advocates to spread hate, conspiracies, and miss-information. This still doesn't change the fact that Twitter is just as toxic as a platform even before Musk bought it and if anything it's just become more toxic. Either way doesn't really bother me what Elon Musk does, I don't use Twitter or really care that much about lolis or lolicons. |

| You guys are overreacting and this change is completely inconsequential. Those terms were always shadowbanned on Twitter and if an artist would post their work while using it, tweet would be buried. No artist was using those. The worst possible scenario is that it is just first step and Elon will actually crack down on loli content and treat it equally to actual CP, which is highly unlikely. But I'm pretty sure, that if he take a closer look at what antis are complaining about, he will just laugh if off, because an actual pron involving even drawings of children was always illegal on Twitter. |

| Twitter always buried posts that contained the word, so unless you directly followed accounts that post or reposted the stuff you usually wouldn't see it. Last this knight checked anyways. Not that it really matters though since 99% of the loli artists out there don't use an associated tag anyways. Probably for the better in the long run. Surface-level hurdles like this lessen the amount of comments loli content creators have to deal with from disgruntled low-information normies and antis. Also keeps the actual CP derps from abusing the tag. |
