| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It was a faithful adaptation of the original novel. They nicely wrapped up the background info and the story until Kasahara became a member of the task force within one episode. I hope this anime will be free from any censorship by the REAL media ryouka special forces. BTW, the costume of the Ryouka Special forces reminded me of Vega in Street Fighters II. |

| I liked this episode as well, the story seems nice, animation and design is well done. I guess I will watch it but I need subtitles for this one since there is too many parts of the dialogue I was not able to understand. |

Bits of comedy here and there was nice although the overall theme was military and war... thought the main setting was very creative... who could have thought of something like "library war"? tensaida! XD The art style was nice.. that irregular(?) strokes outline thing was pretty unique. Also, may seem kinda random, but liked that font used on title and credits!! finally studios are actually picking some nice design fonts for TV shows... XP Story was fun... hmm, this is supposed to be a love comedy right? hehehe interesting.. | StrawberryMintSubs have said they are going to sub the series, but their projects have been very slow recently. Unless someone else picks it up, it will probably take a while. |

| was a lil fun, comedy and slice of life stuff although i don't really understand the plot, they've got censorship goin on, but there's a squad running around claiming books as legal anyway. makes no sense |

The font was hard to read and each line went by very fast. Also the fonts for the titles and such were near illegible for me to the point where I had my hand on the pause button the entire episode. I don't know the direction this seriesis headed but I hope it isn't comedy. All the chibi scenes were plain annoying, and the effect wasn't as great since the drawings of the characters had very thick outlines anyways. The OP/ED sounded and looked very unoriginal to me. |

| Loved this episode! Although... the story makes no sense at all, imho. Why in the world would the government pass two acts that lead to war between rival factions? If they wanted, couldn't they just repeal one of the acts? Could someone explain this to me so that it makes sense? |

| I really liked the first episode and I know that I'm going to stick to this series. I loved the thick lining of the characters during close-ups and the animation all over is really crisp. Of course, Doujou-kun is hot...but I like all of the character designs so far. Cool concept. Its cool that something as simple as a book can have so much attention drawn to it. Good bit of comedy and action. Can't wait until we really get into the depth of the story. The only negative was the subbing. It was constantly going too fast and I really did get to read the little bios about the different characters and it would have been nice to have had some karaoke also. |

| I thought this episode was pretty likeable. I like the whole concept of certain books becoming banned and all - quite interesting. I'm actually liking the relationship between Kasahara and that main officer. Kinda cute =P Looks like I'll be following Euthanasia's subs unless someone better comes along. |

It's ridiculous to squeeze such a long story into 11 episodes. The original novel is a thick hard cover book, but the total sales are more than 700,000 issues. Definitely it's a great series. I desperately hope that Production IG won't ruin the story line. |

| Well, Production IG does a good job most of the time. Anyway, I think the story setup is really, really stupid and ridiculous. I wouldn't mind it if it was a pure comedy anime, but I felt more serious tones than comedy from the first episode. So I got the impression that this is meant to be serious, which makes this really stupid. But then again one has to admit that it's a rather original way to setup a reason for action. Characters and the story told in the first episode were ok. I was not bored. OP/ED are generic, but not really bad. The instructor looked like an older brother of Sgt. Sagara. ^^ I will follow this, because it's only 12 episodes and it looks more than ok. |

| It was decent, good enough to continue watching, but not great. I also thought the animation was pretty good, especially compared to some of the other shows that have recently been released. I will continue to watch for now. |
| Just picked this one up. Not amazing but good first episode. Relationship between the leads gave me a bit of a Lovely Complex/Nodame feeling, though the setting/genre is very different. |

| I was planning on picking up this series when it first aired, but with everything else I was watching, I didn't get around to it. It was not what I was expecting at all, and I'm almost glad for it! The premise is fresh, the art is decent and I completely got sucked into the first episode. Definitely will continue, and see how this series goes :D |

| This show takes itself far too seriously. It is EXTREMELY cheesy as a result. Laughter inducing, even. If you like campy shows, don't miss this one. |
