| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well regardless who is with, it makes sense that they decided to showcase the finale with Kimihito remembering he events from those years ago with Siesta. Speaking of which, Siesta's personality hasn't changed much at all after all this time. Got to see most of the relevant characters again including Yui too in the finale. One of the better episodes imo but I do find the anime still mediocre overall. |

| That Was an amazing last fight, Kimihiko is feeling nostalgic with Siesta, even though it's only a few episodes apart, lol. Chameleon really is the final boss and Siesta's will still, Whether the heart transplant can carry a person's personality, I mean Siesta and Natsunagi can switch... I know that Siesta has a special heart but this case reminds me of Michiru from Grisaia. Siesta isn't dead Siesta is still alive inside Natsunagi. "Watashi ni inochi o kurete arigatou" ahhh damn, don't remind me with that sentence, xD. Siesta wants the four of them to beat SPES, because the four of them are Siesta's will. So what they were looking for turned out to be themselves, this was unexpected, and it would end before SPES was defeated. The name of the person who will wake you up one day are..... |

| I feel like we're always being led on by Siesta's "mystery" of being dead and transferring onto others' souls for consciousness, but it just all amounts to nothing. The last spurt of Kimizuka and Nagisa's (or Siesta's rather) efforts against Chameleon while dissing remarks at each other, while simultaneously with Siesta's transfiguration in both Hel and Nagisa (through her heart), it's been a hell of a journey for Kimizuka and his time with Siesta for the dizzying 3 years before her death. and now he can finally stand toe-to-toe with her being the worthy Sidekick. SPES with Chameleon's chapter is over, and the cruise ship is saved. While her will is passed onto those who've known her or had her organs, for all 4 of them to take down SPES while carrying one person's will, it seems like a lofty goal. But while "The Detective is Already Dead", her dying dreams will live on. Well, what a roller-coaster of a ride this abomination was. |

| Chameleon is really ridiculous to be honest, I'm disappointed that he has that final boss feeling even though it doesn't feel this way at all for me :/ Siesta is cute but that's all I would say I'm happy that they did so many backstory parts with her because it feels better with her presence than the main timeline story... I expected more from this anime for how hyped it was, I'm a bit disappointed even though it was still fine to watch :/ |

| Well, that was about as uninteresting as I was expecting. Chameleon never really stuck out to me as important for the few episodes he appeared in. This anime started as a cash grab and ended as one, not much good to say about it. |

| Nah... Except for the expectations I had with this anime after that 1st episode, I'm so disappointed in what it turned out in the end. At least, we got Siesta back in this episode. She's the only reason I kept watching this show but other than that, that ain't it, chief. She's the same as before, hasn't changed a bit. Really cute as always. Although, the fight with Chameleon was alright, I guess. Very meh experience from this show. |

| Thank god its finally over! I was really confused this whole episode, like what is Chameleon even trying to achieve? Who is Alice? What is Saikawa's purpose on all of this? Is Natsunagi the same as Hel? There are so many things left unexplained, not to mention awful and outright boring narrative that it had. I really wanted to like this anime, specially because its one of the most hyped light novels out there, but after the first episode it unfortunately fell off with each episode. 4/10 |

| Well, what can I say.. I had high hopes for the anime but it turned out to be one of the worst seasonal animes. The mystery in this anime was just ridiculous. But some episodes were pretty enjoyable (Beach ep) and of course, the first episode. Both the OP and ED were pretty good and overall animation was alright. Didn't like any of the characters beside the MC and Siesta. 5/10 |

| Genuinely the most unfulfilled I’ve been watching an a anime season as it’s aired. A lot went wrong and the weirdness of the story is one of them, content wise it had potential but execution wise it was horrendous goddamn. I enjoyed it as a more of background noise type rather than being invested into it like I originally thought I would but hey ho |

| Okay for argument's sake natsugi and siesta managed to switch places where tf did seista get those guns from? Does she spawn guns in her death or what? idek why I'm questioning this anime after 11 episodes of its ridiculous plotlines I'm just glad that it's done. Since no one else seems to be mentioning this the first episode was really good and the dialogue is pretty good at times. Other than that solid 4/10 from me |

| Decent finale, character interactions were quite amusing again. It was good to Siesta and the other girls as well one last time before this season ended. Overall decent anime and I really liked Siesta. So hopefully we'll get a new season and get more Siesta. |

| Female Holmes x Watson sounds interesting on paper, adding supernatural is also some ideas to make things fresh for detective story. Alas the author thought he cannot make this greenlit without adding harems/LN tropes which is downfall if not executed well. Well, to nobody’s surprise it was executed so badly. It Has lame main character, lame side characters, lame story, lame setting, lame powers, even lame waifu material. I’m only glad that we are heading to a brand new season, so we won’t deal with this shit anymore. |

| "The detective is already dead, but her will lives on" across 4 different persona apparently. I still don't know what kind of anime this was supposed to be, and the overall awkward way of telling the story to explain how she died, but not quite, and she is part of some weird harem of 4 girls, except its just one girl with multiple personalities or something like that. It just felt like they didn't have any clear vision on how they wanted to tell the story in this anime, and on top of that, the way they just seemed to be using shortcuts for all the components as well; like you could just see that they were on budgets with some of these fights, they weren't even many, but the few that they had, were just subpar and rushed. Whatever happened in that last fight with that reptile dude, he seemed like he had a power-up, but he just died to gunfire, even though he seemed like he was resistant, almost immune to it. Oh yeah, the music too what was that some kind of Mortal kombat remix or something..Anyway, there were just sooo many pieces of content in that anime that clearly weren't executed as well as they should have been. Making it mediocre, at best. 5.0/10. |

| Reunion wasn't a bit emotional or meaningful like they wanted it to be, well it's nothing surprising to be honest. Both Kimizuka and Siesta defeating chameleon, atleast they got a chance to fight as a pair one more time. So in the end now Nagisa will continue Siesta's work as a detective, and Kimizuka as an assistant like he always used to be. Had high expectations from it, but nothing except the first episode really standed out too much, quite disappointing to be honest. Atleast OP and ED were decent. |

| This trainwreck is finally over. They have a grand reunion talking about pretty much nothing at all while nonchalantly fighting big stupid kill lizard taking away any sort of tension. Of course the lizard constantly stood around letting them speak with each other. The author couldn't even be motivated to do something slightly less generic and actually have to two mains hook up. Anyway this show was a disaster of awful characters and nonsense writing. The only redeeming feature was the first half of ep one on the airplane. |

| This might be the first anime I've seen that peaked in the first half of its first episode and never achieved anything remotely close to that afterward. They baited us hard with that, then it quickly fell off going forward. I'm glad this is finally over. |

| A good episode but a trash anime. Siesta is so overrated it is not even funny. Nagisa was by far a better character imo overall. She had flaws where Siesta was basically perfect on all accounts. Even dieing was part of her plan...what? I'd be okay without a season 2. 6/10 |

| Expected more from Siesta's return honestly but this felt about right nonetheless considering how their interactions always had this dignified and distant vibe throughout. Enticing little liner from Siesta though, they really did like each other but were sadly cut short. Natsunagu, on the other hand, is a little too active when jealous xD. Got to feel the villain here though, the two were literally flirting but he just couldn't get a hit even then. Anticlimactic close but well, the antagonist game in the show has been pretty bad to be fair. Shining moments of the episode, like many, was just the first half of the introductory episode as well but there were a decent and entertaining conversations and interactions here and there so I'll stick with a 4/10 lol. Siesta turned out to be a far more interesting character but sadly no one aside from Alicia to a certain extent could keep up. Definitely going to miss the Op & ED. They were both great in the music and visual departments! Already on my playlist since week 2. No idea why this stirred a decent hype in Japan but the story honestly felt really cheap. With Siesta around though, maybe I can see why after all... |

| So it went out with the last battle as expected can't make it too bland or else the fanbase will go nuts on that one Siesta making an appearance well good for Kimi finally to reunite with Siesta herself she hasn't changed very much she's the same old Siesta we love and the trash talk was still as good as I remember it but it came out quite bland even the fight was plain I liked how it ends for everyone nothing too special nor bad happened it just went with their way although it became just the usual mystery anime that everyone dislikes but at least characters like Siesta are somewhat more relevant and showed more scenes with her. This anime went downhill right from the start after episode 1 ended I thought it had more potential and yet more unexpected content to come but sadly it just went from a plain detective anime and a long ass flashback arc that no one wanted I guess they took their time there, I should say maybe Kimi's VA didn't put much character in his voice lines but I doubt it was that reason itself as Kimi might be that boring of a person to start with but other than that it was mediocre at best enjoyed watching it though with Siesta annoying the hell out of Kimi. |

| This finally ended huh.. I think the author was going for the "Bunny Girl Senpai" type of template where the main charm of the story is the conversations between the characters... but for that to happen.. Each characters NEEDS to have a personality.. which Bunny girl senpai did very well.. but this story fell short off.. when he decided to make it a freaking harem.. and made the girls your average fall-in-love-with-the-mc-cuz-he-breathed! Sure the Bunny Girl Senpai had some ridiculous quantum theory solutions but that wasn't the main point.. this anime on the other hand.. decided to go with the Super natural Aspect.. and somehow we STILL don't have clear cut idea of what or who SPES actually is for fuck sake! The animation was trash.. ofc.. not the worst but mediocre at best.. they really only decided to make first episode hype than flushed it down the gutter for the next 11 episodes.. The OSTs are somewhat good.. i really liked the Voice actors.. even the character designs.. the main girl may have been a rip off from Date a Live.. but she was quite different from her.. OP and ED both were good enough to not skip each week.. Over all.. the anime gets a 5/10 from me.. will I watch the second season? I fucking hope it doesn't gets one.. anyways.. one of the disappointments of this season.. |

| Well we got some closure, of course very forced. Why did they seem to have never seen each other for so long, yet we, the audience, have been seeing Siesta with Kimi for almost every episode? If they were planning on doing something like this, they should've structured it chronologically instead. From start to end, this was a harem anime. Mystery? What's that? Couldn't help but laugh when Yui said she was the sidekick's sidekick, when she barely had any influence outside of her arc. Just stay the harem girl you are. Just plain terrible. Really. I don't know how you guys even liked the 1st episode, because I was instantly turned off the moment Siesta "knew it from the start." Just imagine trying to solve one of the series' cases yourself, only to get thrown with knowledge no one could've known besides the author, alongside some SPES randomness (I'm still confused on what SPES even is!). At least the 'Jack the Ripper' storyline was better in this regard, however I'm still really frustrated with the fantastical elements. Who knows, maybe I might've liked this more if this just stayed a high-school harem romcom LOL Yikes. |

| Finally this abomination of a show is over! Chameleon really didn't fit the 'final boss' role at all to me. Overall, there was nothing special about this show and I'm glad it's ended. Most hyped of the season but turned out to be the worst of the season. |

| This anime had a lot of potential but at the end of the day they wasted it. The plot had a lot of holes (huge one) and the characters are note that like able (except Siesta)... The first episode was great and my expectations for this anime was high but as the story progresses I lost the motive of watching it. I was just watching it... Nothing else.. If only if there is a second season coming for this series, I would like to see more of Siesta and Kimizuka chemistry rather than foolish detective thing... The only reason I watched this series was Siesta... All and all It was good |

| When Summer ends fall comes, Old anime stop airing new anime start airing. But this anime will always be remembered by me. The first episode was 50mins long and after watching it I felt that this anime could be worth watching. Well it wasn't amazing but I must say I was filled up with questions after each episode and they kept on adding up. I'm still filled with lot of questions even after the season ended. The ending was satisfying but hoping for more Seista screen time even if its only in flashback scenes. the animation quality is super duper good. Overall 8/10 and loved the op and ed. Hoping for answers in season 2 or will just have to read the light novel |
