MHA - In season 4 when Eri smiles because she sees Deku performing, yeah I had tears streaming for that one.
Tamako Market - When the bird leaves without saying goodbye because he’s “not in the habit of making girls cry”. I’ve seen it twice now, got me both times.
Teasing Master Takagi-san - At the very end of season 2 when Takagi and Nishikata finally hold hands... I kind of unexpectedly cried my eyes out. It’s a good thing the credits rolled right after because I would have missed the following minute or so because I couldn’t see through all my tears!
Hunter x Hunter 2011
I'm a huge fan of the manga, I've cried to the manga a long time ago, and I wasn't expecting to cry to the anime too, especially
when Rina and her brother came back to the village, with their monstruous faces
, because I didn't cry to it in the manga, but that made me so emotional with the seiyuus and the ost, even if I still prefer the manga, it was a great experience.
K-On was the biggest surprise ever. The girls slowly realizing that their time together in High School is fast approaching is was initially hit me with that realization, “oh this is gonna make me cry.”
After the original members of Hokago Tea Time sang the song they made for Azusa, I was crying so hard I couldn’t breath out of my nose.
Gintama and Haikyuu. For Gintama, I'd just started it off as a comedy anime but holy shit, the last few arcs hit you so hard. Haikyuu, I couldn't even comprehend crying.
When they won against Shiratorizawa, I couldn't hold back my tears. After so much build up, they'd finally achieved something this big and it felt surreal.
Fate/Zero. Not the ending, I played the VN so I saw that coming. The line where Berserker’s Master talks about playing in the park again like the good old days- having just seen the HF movies that hit like a brick.
Gdeeriya said: One piece made me cry so many times, i didn't expect the show to make me cry let alone make me cry to so many episodes
I think my favorite part about the amount of times I've cried for One Piece is the fact that its probably made me teared up as many times out of sadness as it has out of happiness.
not an anime but i bawled my eyes at 'onani master kurosawa' on a drawing portrait drawn by a certain character, i never expected i'll cry over a manga like that but i just felt so lonely and related to thé character lol

I feel this, I finished the VN after completing Fate Zero, UBW, HF and those animes itself was great. But the VN takes it to a whole different level. I'm glad to see people play the VN and dive deeper into the series aside from just the animes. It really is a masterpiece of a franchise.
I went into School-Live! completely blind. By episode three the show had already made me cry, and it managed to make me cry two more times after that too
Also A Place Further Than The Universe. Nothing but good vibes for the first 11 and a half episodes and then... single saddest scene in all of anime IMO. I still tear up sometimes when I think back on it or listen to the song that played during that scene
Non Non Biyori - It just made me so nostalgic and emotional as I was aching for a life to be a young kid free of worries again.
Assassination Classroom
It's all fun and games until the day they to eventually kill Korosensei. I KNEW Korosensei eventually have to be killed by the class, but I was not expecting it to be that sad and I was bawling with the rest of them while Korosensei faded away after the stab
A Place Further than the Universe - to be fair, I watched that anime completely blind because it was something I picked up randomly and I wasn't expecting much from it.
K-on
once after their last school festival performance and they were talking about what to do next, knowing that they can't stop time and eventually have to graduate.
Then second during the graduation episode when they played one last song for Azusa and as I was reading the lyrics of the song. Next thing I know I was tearing up already.
Majo no Tabitabi -
Episode 9. When they learned the truth about the killer and they found out what actually happened to Selena and how she became the serial killer. It was fucked up and sad how Selena told them why she became like that and it seemed like there's no saving her anymore
Re:Zero S2
Episode 4, when Subaru underwent the first trial and met his parents. The scene where he was finally going to school and his mother told him to "Take Care" and it flashes back to Subaru's memories when he was still back in Earth, the last words his mother told him was "Take Care" as well before he got summoned to the parallel world. I cried there because it made me think that her parents were THAT kind to Subaru, and they never knew what happened to him after he went out and are probably still searching for him.
Episode 8, when Subaru was finally able to tell someone (Echidna) about his Return by Death ability. It was one of the greatest moment in season 2 for me. Top tier performance from Yuusuke Kobayashi as well for voicing Subaru in that scene, you can really feel the emotion and the sadness Subaru went through with how he performed that.
Konosuba movie
When Megumin asked Kazuma to recalibrate her stats so she won't be a burden to the party and Kazuma put all her stat points that improves her Explosion magic more, then asked her for one last Explosion spell. It was so sweet and heartwarming how Kazuma encourages Megumin more with her explosion spell and when they turned around, the mushroom cloud became heart-shaped as the credits roll in. It was very sweet and I actually shed some tears
(under construction)
(ok, completed)
Edit: I revisited that episode of Violet Evergarden, and actually cried this time, so i move it to the first category :')

There's many, actually. It doesn't happen very often, so i highly regard any anime that is capable of making me so.
I'm quite surprised that it is a lot more than i expected/remembered while browsing down my list.
When Schwi was getting desperate in tears during her battle with Jibril, and when Riku almost lose hope in the end for someone to take the chess piece.
When Homura gave up after she understood that she and her wish is actually the one that is making it worse for Madoka's reality and almost turned into her witch form.
I almost started crying like a 8 year old girls while watching them. And no I am not lying. I watched the second one with my Girlffriend and I always had to close my eyes so she cant see any tear coming out.
Both of them were so horrible BAD in any definition of Bad, i wasn't able to stand it. My body, soul and brain got hurt this much. I actually still feel sad and attacked by this.
Somali and The Forest Spirit. When it started it was just a comfy anime with a great family. But damn the last episode hit right in the feels
Kengan Ashura manga somehow is the only manga that has managed to make me cry and I have read Oyasumi Punpun and Berserk. They didn't make me cry but a fucking Martial Arts Manga managed that
Defo, Steins gate, anohana and assasination classroom. I Watched anohana not knowing what the anime is about then after the ending i cried like a baby. for steins gate i watched it thinking its just a cool time travel anime but after i finished it and steins gate 0 i felt empty and sad
After watching Clannad, I never ever thought that some other anime could make me cry. But Bunny girl senpai both anime and movie hit real hard. Sakuta character is just epic, he deserves more recognition.
After finished the chimera ant in hxh, never felt so sad and crying that much for 30 minutes straight alone,i can't believe my life changed by a bug it felt they could end the show in chimera ant due to how memorable it is despite it's terrible pacing
assasination classroom thanks to the early episodes i thought the series was going to be comedy with a bit of craziness till the end but during the final scenes it totally got me
死神 ❝What do you think are the most important things in life? Money, dreams, sympathy towards others... Yes, they're all important things as well... But the most important thing is responsibility for your own actions.❞ - Yuichi
I didn't expect anything because of the cover, and I didn't read the synopsis. I cried after 3 minutes of the movie, and in the end I couldn't take it anymore.
