I don't really participate in waifu/husbando culture because I don't really have any romantic or sexual interest in characters in the media I consume. ID:Invaded could be pretty cool if the gameplay greatly varied in each ID well, sort of like the gameplay variety in something like Nier. 15. What do you prefer: Anime before or after 2012? I have seen more from post-2012 than before 2012, so by proxy, I have more anime I prefer from that same period, but I wouldn't pick one over the other. 16. Off the top of my head, the three things that come to mind are Ef: A Tale of Memories, Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, and Ping Pong the animation. 17. The character themes are great. 6: I really have no clue. There are just so many good ones, picking a favorite is impossible. 7: Id have to go with anime. Not that I don't like manga, its just that there are certain things I love about anime that the manga just doesn't have. 8: Binge. I feel so much better when I get the experience in one go, rather than waiting for weeks to see what happens next. 9: Aot. Fmab is great, but aot. 10: I've watched Naruto (and bits of boruto), one piece, and am planning to watch bleach. Sometime. 11: Do dvds and books count? Because if so, then I have bought quite a few. 1. Since when have you been actively watching anime ? Depends what you mean by actively. I was watching anime back in the 90s, before I even knew what anime was. It was pretty limited at first, but after the year 2000 it became more and more easily available thanks to satellite TV. I guess that's when I started watching somewhat consistently, but I wasn't collecting/listing anything until about 2015. Looking at my list, I'd say that I watched at least 80% of it within the past 5 years. 2. What's your waifu/husbando? My waifu is Bulma. Dragon Ball was not only my first manga, but the first book I've ever read on my own initiative. I was barely 5 years old when I picked it up from the school's library. Bulma was the first female, real or fictional, that ever made my pickle tickle, and I assure you that's not as sad as it sounds. 3. What's your favorite studio? I've never thought about that. Just looking at my list, it seems that many of my favourite anime were made by Madhouse. Bones also comes to mind. They don't necessarily make the best anime, but there is some kind of special atmosphere to their productions, indescribable but unmistakable, that I quite enjoy. The Bones patte, if you will. 4. Do you prefer shounen or seinen? Seinen tend to be written before they are drawn, whereas shounen are drawn before they are written. Seinen generally offer definite, self-contained stories, while shounen are more about world-building. Because shounen authors don't necessarily have a clear path in mind when they start publishing, their stories end up being more narratively erratic, and often suffer from coherence and pacing issues. To put it simply, seinen are pictures and shounen are patchworks. There are many amazing shounen of course, but seinen are generally more satisfying to me. 5. What series has the best OSt? Princess Tutu, without a doubt. For something a little more modern, RahXephon has some pretty good tracks too. 6. What anime has the best opening? I would need to re-watch them all to give a good answer. Maybe Evangelion as it's so iconic. 7. Reading manga or watching anime ? Why not both? | 1. Since when have you been actively watching anime? I've been actively watching since 2012 with SAO though I only really started to take it seriously in the past 5-6 years or so. 2. What's your waifu/husbando? Gonna cheat a bit and pick one both and go with Rikka Takanashi for my waifu and Satou Mafuyu as my husbando, I love them both to death. 3. What's your favorite studio? Pretty easily BONES, though I also love MadHouse, basic choices there I know. 4. Do you prefer shounen or seinen? Shounen, I'm a sucker for a good battle shounen 5. What series has the best OSt? It may not be the best of all time, but Naruto still has a pretty stellar OST. I also recently finished the second season of Diamond no Ace and that series reuses the same tracks a lot but they really add to the show's atmosphere. 6. What anime has the best opening? | 1 October 2020 2 None, I don't want an imaginary marital partner 3 the only one I know of is Ghibli 4 I quite like shonen, I haven't watched any seinen yet 5 I'm fond of Demon Slayers OST 6 Kakegurui 7 Watching anime, reading manga is tiring, there's so much going on in every page 8 Binge, except with chill stuff like Saiki K or Food Wars 9 FMAB didn't interest me much and I've never seen AoT 10 I've seen around 30 episodes of Naruto, one episode of one piece, and I have no idea what bleach is about 11 No, but I have a couple MHA shirts, they make me feel confident, and I've gotten a few compliments 12 I mainly watch mainstream and stuff that is generally well liked by people like Haikyuu, Demon Slayer, Hunter Hunter, so none 13 Yeah kind of, I think it's more about what one likes in the show. Some shows have terrible plot, or flat characters, but some people like these shows for other reasons, like aesthetic. I think trash taste could include being a fan of a ship between a child and an adult, or genuinely loving the animation in some of Haikyuu's outsourced episodes. 14 Death Note 15 After 2012, but I haven't watched much from before 16 I'd say Cells at Work is pretty unique 17 To me it means there are one or two big things the I didn't like about it, it isn't necessarily negative, and it's only a little positive 18 I'd love to listen to music with Jirou 19 Fire Force, I haven't seen much of it, and it's been over a year, but from what I did see, I think it has potential to be much more 20 I think a sequel to Death Note with L as a Shinigami or other non human being |
