MetaThPr4h said: That was an awesome first episode! Really enjoyed the first interactions and the introduction to the story. I think they nailed it with Rinku's genkiness being very fun and not annoying, she's just a lovable airhead... who seems to have a great talent for music, Maho was so surprised. Rinku using shells as way to pay for the help was so funny, different standards due to where she lived until now I guess. Peaky P-Key's performance was great as well, the fact they played one of my favorite songs from them also helps, Denran Countdown is such a banger. That school btw wtf, it looks amazing, the funds for DJ equipment too xD I'm curious about the fact they played a cover as ED, I wonder if they will do one per episode, but I'm in to stay just to see Maho dancing to the music haha. Now to wait two weeks for the next episode q_q, early release was great to finally watch the series, but now gotta wait longer for episode 2, so excited for it! One of my favorite yuri reviewers said that this show would have heavy yuri tones but I just don’t know if that’s possible |

Pretty cool start, 3DCGI was decent. OP/ED were pretty good too. Aimoto's such a bundle of energy, already liking her. Thou lol her value of things are weird, as expected of a girl living in jungle for most of her life. |

Okay, this was genuinely fun to watch! NGL, I'd next to no expectations for this but the Op won me over xD and I'm kind of glad it did. Hopefully, the show can keep up the momentum and provide a pleasant ride like what 22/7 managed to do last year. MC is some genki kid, I must say by the way lol. Charming, nonetheless. Being raised up in the jungle and her mother specialising in dung beetles, that's certainly unique. ED visual was pretty nice too, I didn't I would like to see an anime girl jamming please me lmao. Main theme, War War etc., is pretty dope too, definitely my jam. |

CGI looks good, at first I was afraid it would look bad but wow, awesome. The songs sound good, but for me the best part is how good they said about a DJ. They even talked about what BPM is! I was interested in this, and after this I am fully into it. |

enjoyed the first episode. I like Rinku's non-stop efforts to ask Rei on how to dj. That's a lot of seashells. lol the animation style reminds me of Bang Dream season 2, which is not bad at all. |

This show looks and sounds amazing, but god help me I'm so sick of little girls and their school lives. I wish the show was actually about the two adult girls that were singing WOW WAR TONIGHT. btw if you want to see something fun go on youtube and look up the 1995 live performance of this song titled "H Jungle with t / WOW WAR TONIGHT ~時には起こせよムーヴメント" |

Actually in D4DJ Groovy Mix game two out of six units (Rondo and Merm4id) consist of girls who are college students. I think that the first season will most probably focus on units within the one school (Happy Around, Peaky P-key, Photon Maiden) but other units will also appear at some point in the anime. |

I'd like to know why people think this studio made some love live ? They're only doing bang dream as far as I'm aware, love live was always a sunrise thing I watched bang dream s1 but still need to watch the rest so maybe I'm not used enough to this cg, but while the expressions are really nice, it's still overall way to "bright" and miss the "roughness" of animation. Love live manage to avoid that by only having a little bit of cg during clips (and the cg is getting better each season) I really enjoy the d4dj game but I'm not sure I'll stay for the anime, I'll let it have a few more eps before I decide to stop or not |

Thought I'd give this a go and was really surprised by how much I liked the music. I'm a big trance fan, used to go clubbing and raving back in the early 90's so I like my happy hardcore too, some of this reminded me of early 90's happy hardcore and had that vibe, with a touch of jungle mixed in. I'm really, really surprised. I thought anime dance music may not mix. I like Shingo Nakumura and his progressive trance stuff, but haven't heard of any other Japanese dance music, but the music at the end was epic. Loved Wow Wow Tonight track at the end. |

@MetaThPr4h Bushiroad were the only producers for AL. In addition, this series was originally based on the MariMite style, so this was expected even before the anime. @L-Mo-Reppin When I last listened to "yuri reviewers" about anime's yuri potential, I learned that Destruction Flag Otome was never a yuri bait, or that male love interest would never get much attention in a one hobby shonen with a female cast. Needless to say, both ideas were ludicrous nonsense? Don't ask biased people about abstract things. |

YuriEmpire is essentially a lesbian version of fujoshi with all the related things like "they look at each other, they fockin", etc. I'd rather read Erica Friedman, who, for all her eerie feminist and SJW bias, tries to be sober about content and not wear shipping goggles unnecessarily. Few? Well, that's a pretty dubious statement. Yes, there is very little "real" yuri, but yuri bait or ship bait is now quite a lot. For example, this season already has at least 1.5 yuri shows and a lot of ship bait like Strike Wiches. And in general, the genre has long been more trendy than glam metal in the 80s, lol. |

Then I guess that you have come to the right place. If you are into trance, then you can definitely check some tracks (esp. "Discover Universe", "Photon Melodies", "Be With The World") from Photon Maiden - other unit in the same franchise, which (as I guess from the op) will also appear in the anime. |

It was so cute! Rinku really like Maho and was bringing her romantic love gifts through the whole episode. It was love at first sight! Awwwww the little lesbian lovebirds are so cute together,,,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES Rinku is the sweetest pie and I really like her. So happy full of genki and have this cute childish behavior❤❤ And to my great joy the bell lily's was in picture. One of the strongest Yuri symbols for lesbians in anime and manga.Who knows maybe this anime even going to have lesbian kissing later in?,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES A decent first episode I love the Yuri vibes and that its pretty pure. Only saw some background males . Good! I only accept my cute lesbians |

Needless to say, both ideas were ludicrous nonsense? Don't ask biased people about abstract things. The person I asked owns a website called yuriempire and it’s a very popular site so it was hard to not take his opinion as facts. Either way I just can’t help wanting to see any type of true yuri in an all female cast. That genre has to be one of the smallest by far when it comes to getting a show. Wish people enjoyed yuri more then ntr or tentacles lol I immediately realized that we were talking about the same person. Yea I agree there I try to read his info but like u said sometimes he will count anything as yuri ships and I just can’t be like that. They either have to talk about loving the person or trying to be near them like a vampire moved in the neighborhood or it has to be explicit yuri like citrus for me to count it This very easily turns into wishful thinking by manipulating terminology like "girlfriends instead of best friends" or "crush instead of admiration" and so on, which really annoys me. However, nobody forbids you to ship characters, if you will. The main thing is not to be captivated by your own illusions. Damn someone with there head on straight that’s nice to see. I wish they would do Girl Friends if there going to animate a yuri. I’m getting kind of tired of the yuri bait and insane drama for yuri and for romances. Like the one coming out next season u can tell that one will be crazy drama but at least it won’t be third wheels I don’t think but maybe could end in death Girlfriends is considered a cult work, but personally I even consider it somewhat underrated. This manga made an important message that, for some reason, queer people tend to see romantic overtones in any friendliness from straight people, but queer folks or even straight yuri fans (what a pun) keep foolish themselves with different bait. Next season? Are you about Urasekai Picnic? Well, the author is definitely a very eccentric person, but from what I've heard about the title, there is no controversy there. Well there might not be controversy but they are basically fighting in a post apocalyptic world against aliens lol Are you looking for a more pure romance like Aoi Hana? I’d take that over love triangles, death, or overly dramatic |

Oh I’ve seen everything there is on yuriempires list for 1&2 categories and some here and there on 3&4 I just want new things. If u think about it there’s not many actual yuri anime’s tbh. Maybe 5-10 that are 100% girls with real relationships so there’s many mangas they could try that are better then what’s available now |

I might prolly late the train carriage. But, wow! This show is so groovy! Ofc i must check this out till the end. Because its really made my body move without even i realizing before. Lol. What a very good first episode, with a nice introduction toward the main characters. A couple of girls has already been announced with a fast pace. Rinku had a great personality, she was so cheering! While Maho was indeed adorable dj-ing in the background. The side character that caught my attention in the first glimpse was that pink hair dj. Now, i am really curious about her, beside the main progression over their, Rinku and Maho, unit to perform. Lets see next! |

damn this anime is pretty interesting, looks like theres cgi and rotoscoping and its pretty well done. characters are pretty cool and story seems alright. also, that school is kinda weird, they have a nightclub in it and dj rooms? also the way the school looks is pretty strange too but i think its pretty cool. |

Honestly don't mind the CGI at all, character design is good. Really good first episode, music is so good. I know my volume is going to be at the max while watching this anime. |

That was a very good first episode of D4DJ. After weeks of interest, I have finally watched it and it didn't disappoint. Although our main girl Rinku was off-putting at first, I think she can be a good character. And Maho pretty much is Adachi from her titular show. WOW WAR TONIGHT is already ringing at my head, what a great song. |

This was not that bad. I did not find the fact that the CGI was completely different disturbing. They started off the anime fun and neat. The music they showed off during the first episode itself were bangers. Looking forward to seeing more. |

I like that Rinku dances like me AKA she dances like a dork :) |
