| Simply better than the last couple of years. Certainly laughed at the salt for Best Couple. Yeah, sure "homophobia" 'cause your yaoi couples didn't win. That's a big LUL from me. Not to mention some people literally mention being "TRIGGERED" from it. Some salt is nice to get a good wheeze outta me. |

Likes: A good story, characters, writing, romance, a good plot twist or something that breaks expectations (In a good way), 'backstory' and justice. Dislikes: Bad romance, too much fanservice, the harem genre, yuri, yaoi, and bad writing. |

| I see no reason why I should give special credence to a panel of self-proclaimed experts who have not necessarily seen any more anime than I have. In fact, I'm almost certain they have not, given their rather shallow analyses. From the marketing, it seems they should rename "Best Anime" to "Most Streamed Anime on CrunchyRoll" -- clearly not the same thing. You could perhaps make an argument from popularity after you force a selection of people who watched Demon Slayer to watch the alternative choice, so they could rate the two, because not everyone who watches one show has even heard of the other. But this kind of format will always favor the mainstream. |

| It was clear VS wasn't gonna win neither askeladd beacuse the shit is not available on crunchyroll and demon slayer is obviously more popular than any of the other last year anime that was available on crunchyroll. I think they should rename that awards to crunchyroll popular normie anime awards because that's the correct name. |

| I think they are good thing overall. Crunchyroll has worked on their nomination system so there wasnt many wtf nominations. And popular or subjective is not bad or wrong, its still information. I was overall satisfied. Demon Slayer did deserve the win even though wasnt my fav same with Isabela. Biggest surprise for me was Raphtalia winning over Chika and Nezuko. |

Crunchyroll staff wasn't voting, it's 70 judges that come outside from Crunchyroll. I think they are trying to stop it being popularity award and fandom award where one show dominates with favoring judges votes over fans. Though the pressure is even more on judges then, you really need people who have watched tons of shows. They didn't have this during "My Hero Academia Awards" where they had to even redo the nominations somehow cause judges had nominated multiple MHA characters in Best Boy, Best Girl etc. Now the judges did seem to have more sense. I'd personally prefer 50/50 split. |

| Well I wasn't even interested by the nominations. So you get it there. 😑 I knew Vinland Saga will never win with these normies out there. And AOT was totally robbed. I don't know how the Chika ending won best ED. Sure it was cute and all and had great animation. But even so did the Vinland Saga and SAO endings which were accompanied by great songs. It certainly isn't better than them. |

| Still can't understand how Isabella won over Askeladd for the best antagonist category. KnY was expected to win, though, and it was good to see Kaguya x Shirogane win the best couple category, they deserved it. Overall disappointing for Vinland's absence in almost everything, but at least better than past years. |

| It wasn't as bad as the previous ones, Kimetsu no Yaiba winning was predictable and i still can't get over the fact that Mob didn't win Best Boy and Askeladd didn't win best Antagoinst(although he was technically the protagonist of the Prologue arc) Monarch9 said: Have you seen the judges for these awards? | Askeladd lost to Isabella, and Shingeki lost in OST to fucking Carole & Tuesday, didn't even get nominated to AOTY, which was taken by fucking Demon Slayer. It wasn't just bad. For the 4th time in a row, it was a complete fucking disaster. Once again, I'm begging people to just stop supporting this show |
