| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Episode is okay but the supernatural elements in that stadium is was just bizarre. Felt the episode's mystery and eerieness weren't on par with some of the previous episodes. But hey, at least Satoru got more screen time. For one thing, this show seems to devote time into all of its main characters in some way or another. |

| Sakurai-san's character testing main character's resolution of listening to another w. his case. The boy woke up, and the mother and brother came to say thanks to him. Maeno-san's character sort of agrees with what Sakurai-san's character, just worrying about main guy's involving another. The place w. anothers gathered around "Might" affect because some meeting would happen? They look like eggs... They are babies, though, so he cannot hear anything. Sakurai-san's character's point is if there's too many another that cannot find solution, then burning is the quickest solution. Kohaku know everything about that case. Party at September of old calendar? That lady who was with the god another in hair case... seems to know why Sakurai-san's character's cruel. Uncle? Making him crazy? So the white cocoon eggs might be related to the party? Kohaku saw them burning and told the boss (mother of the eggs), who seemed to be angry and attacked them. Everyone got trapped into the cocoon, except one who called main guy. |

| I don't know what it means to be trapped in cocoons, but I hope they end up with something long-lasting like PTSD or death. Hope we get to see Kohaku do something awesome for Miyako. |
| The improper City Hall Kanoichi giving Arata a case to "test" him. Miyako's Ears of Sand isn't all that special, but something sure seems off about Kanoichi with his right-eyebrow scar. The bizarre case at the stadium...as supernatural as it is, quite the norm for Kohaku: the Izumo festival. Though it's weirdness is weaker than past episodes (to say that there are hits and misses). The analogy is similar to silkworms: a broken thread means a broken product, and the Gods are able to harvest silk the same way we do. So that it seems within the Kanoichi family, the Anothers ruptured their family apart. And the Queen cocoon Another is about to do the same. How will Arata aim to close this case? |

Sure, as an Another and a god, he doesn't really play along with the humans, even Arata, but his mentioning of the festival was the crucial hint that got the Shinjuku guys thinking this time. |

I can't imagine that, being the god he specificially is, one would get straight answers from him. It's like talking to the Fae: yes means no, no means yes -- they always speak in riddles. Huehuecoyotl is, after all, Old Trickster Coyote nand though he is an Aztec deity specifically, afaik similar gods exist[ed] also in other Native American cultures. What's the point of being a trickster if you give straight answers and solutions left and right? |

| A wild Jenova appears! Mess with her eggs and she'll cocoon you and turn you into her children. Anyways, there are only two episodes left. I'm think they'll end with this arc. We may or may not get a second season, depending on sales (which I haven't bothered to look at). Arata is still haunted by what Another from the last episode. I still feel sorry for it whenever I remember. :( |

| Nice job scar guy, instead of dealing with it peacefully, you got a lot of people involved in a thing you shouldn't mess with Coyote the trap god looking more feminine each episode feels kind of weird considering he is an aztec god |
