Which Isekai main protagonist do you like the best out of this guys?

If you like them being put on a pedestal and having a relatively easy time, then Kirito. (P.S. no hate towards SAO, its actually one of my favorite anime). If you like ones being god like, and being a bit too OP, Rimuru. If you like ones getting absolutely fucked up beyond all measures, Natsuki. My favorite is Rimuru (HES JUST SO ADORABLE). |
| I personally like Ainz because he has more of an superimposing air to him, yet his inner dialogue is so contrasting to his outward imagery and often amusing to hear....it's practically a main reason why I was able to enjoy Overlord despite its flaws, especially during s3. |

Subaru was the best character of re:zero, personality wise and development wise. He has so far been the only decent isekai protagonist. |

| Prolly Shiroe. Haven't seen Slime yet so no comment on that, but Ainz was pretty boring and Kirito just suffers from being in a series with a lot of questionable writing that make it hard to take him seriously, at least early on. But I do actually like him later on, like in GGO and the movie. Mixed feelings overall tho. Subaru was definitely entertaining and I liked him but then he chose the wrong girl and it's hard to forgive him for that. So mixed feelings as well. Shiroe wasn't great, but he was fun to watch and unlike the others didn't do anything that made me think badly of him. He's alright, so I'd probably pick him out of that list. Tho they are all pretty far away from making it into my top 100 or even top 200 anime characters. I agree with the crowd wanting to be able to vote for Kazuma, tho I'd also vote for Youko (Juuni Kokuki) and Haruhiro (Grimgar) over any of the choices presented in this thread. |

| I chose Shiroe. He was pretty fun and I enjoyed his schemes a lot, but I don't think he was anything special. Outside conflict he was pretty chill too. Out of these guys he's the one I'd prefer to have as a friend. The close second is Subaru, but what makes him special is not really his character, but the writer's self-awareness of his poor behavior. It's such a breath of fresh air that the narrative doesn't try to frame the MC as being in the right all the time. I don't care about the rest in the slightest. Outside these options, Yoko is my favorite. |
| All of them suck as characters except for Subaru, so its not even a comparison. All of them are boring, soulless, whish fullfillment MC. Ainz started interesting but they completely cut his inner turmoil from the later seasons. And Kirito gets a major debuff from adaptiosn which dont adapt his inner monologue. Which really only leaves Subaru. Subaru works so well as a character because I as a person would sometimes do things differently. But I accept subarus choices as his own, I dont have to self insert me. As far as MCs of Isekai overall count, Kagome. Yes, InuYasha is an Isekai. Let that sink. |

| Ainz because he is an OP villain. Something that's hard to come by. Subaru next because having a super weak protagonist was neat, although he tested my nerves in the middle of the series. The horrifying plot concepts helped me sympathize with him. Shiroe's alright. But he never seemed to get developed enough, and S2 kind of shat on him. Kirito is so-so. He held my interest for most of the first arc but everything after that has been blah. SAO isn't isekai anyway. I find Rimuru to be bland. OP nice guy with perfect moral compass who does nice things. |

| Subaru is the worst no doubt. Most cringe MC of all time and he's pretty much useless. Rimuru is a good MC but he too boring. I don't really dig his show, it has little tension and it has too much slice of life fluff. I know that's the intention but I don't really find that appealing. Shiroe I don't have any opinion on him because I dropped Log Horizon. Kirito is an entertaining character to me someone you can watch without feeling bored or cringing at his actions. He's even better in the Light Novels. Ainz is my favorite just because he's different than the typical goody two shoes MC. He has questionable morals. He's also ambitious which I find refreshing and can lead others without humility. |

| If we're talking about Aincrad Kirito when he was mainly soloist then I'd go with him But otherwise, I'd go with Ainz out of this list. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing pompous people get the treatment they deserve |

| I chose Ainz because he was at least semi interesting. Subaru/Shiroe was bland and Kirito is just plain boring imo. The reason I didn't choose Rimuru was because he was an adult that came into a different world yet he's so happy go lucky. It's like he's a child and not an adult which I find really weird. Not that it's a horrible thing but I just don't like it. |

| Subaru for the win, but Ainz/Momonga just falls short for me! Rimuru’s been an interesting Character so far but nothing groundbreaking or nearly as developed as Subaru and Kirito’s been so-so, I still don’t get all the sudden power ups and such so it’s kind of a turn off. I haven’t watched Log Horizon yet so no considerations to Shiroe. Why not add Kazuma here too? It’d surely make this poll a lot interesting, I suppose. |

| Kirito obviously, he is a badass edgy thot slayer who would reject girls while they are stripping (asuna and sinon). Just kidding :P Sad you didn't add sora from no game no life but I guess that makes it fair. I would choose Ainz just for his "villain to human" approach. Usually isekai worlds are based in 1400s monarchy era for some reason and the people are narrow minded so it's fun to see Ainz "lmao-ing" such normies. Also I'd really want to see an isekai based in a futuristic and an unexpectedly unrealistic world instead of just throwing fantasy to the same textbook world. |
