| Ah, such a perfect adaptation so far and we are not even on the second gear yet! I mean my boy Yuu has not appeared yet! Oh, he appears in the mountain pics! This is a real gem and I advise people to stick with it! The only thing that hurts me is the painful reminder that it was Prez who actually broke her heart. Maki deserves better. | For a second, I though I was watching the first episode again when they repeated the introduction scene at the start of the episode, but it was intended to be there, though, as explained already in the earlier posts. Pretty neat move. =) Just like the first episode, the visual quality remains on-point and the comedy and antics between Miyuki and Kaguya was even funnier than the first episode. Their constant expressions whenever they're shocked, frustrated and in Kaguya's case, blushing like a tomato, was soooo good! I like how they showcased both Kaguya and Chika in their lovely bikinis during the debate about whether to go to the sea or mountains. =P And as before, Chika shows just how OP she is once more. Her obsession with the spooky mountain was a little disturbing for someone who looks like an airhead, though. XD The ED was great, not just the song, but the animation showcased the main cast that felt like it was coming from 100 years ago with the air blimps and the wooden bi-planes. Lovely stuff from an already impressive show so far. |
| When I thought that the OP was good, turns out the ED is best. I love the ED, it just fits Kaguya's character perfectly. This episode is really good, I like how Miyuki noticed Kaguya listening by the door and then quickly changed his insults into praises. Just funny. Also, Fujiwara Chika is just adorable, she's really cute. |

| Hooray looks like the crunchyroll subs were fixed. That aside, this was pretty great. The third part of this ep in particular really had me going. I just knew pres was gonna see Kaguya eventually and his switch of descriptors on the fly was perfect. Also I love how his stupid advice worked. I mean I did see Kaguya's face when he slammed the door with her on the other side, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it worked for our love seeker lol! |

| Kaguya's use of the barnum statement made me laugh so hard. That was completely unexpected! The student council president changed kabedon to kabe down. Haha The guy seeking love advice looked like a cuter version of Shirogane. I think I want to start using "okawaii koto." |
| I really didn't like the paneling in the manga and a lot of the comedy was really unfunny in that but holy shit, talk about a 180 in execution! This had my sides hurting all the way! Really excited for the next one. |

| HHHHHMMMMMM I HAD A FEEELING. I had a feeling this was going to be a good one but DAMN I WASN'T EXPECTING TO ENJOY IT THIS MUCH. But, I do hope this isn't all there is too it, like, I hope they have some other ways to get them to compete or something, this formula will get stale towards the end if they don't find a way to mix things up. That being said though, it will still probably be a blast until then. |

The 'can't confess' trope is probably the worst in anime/jdrama but here they've finally done something brilliant with it. |

| This really is a fluffy, well-executed comedy anime. It's perfect for watching on a weekly basis, and the buzzing energy of the expressions really highlights the effort that was put into it. I also love Chika so much. Her whole thing with wanting to summon the spirits cracked me up. |

| Chika wanting to go to that death mountain was out of left field, and I'm guessing from the eyecatch, we'll be getting even more unexpected things from her haha. She's still really cute though :3 The ED was great! And some of the art was really nice, most notably this:  I really like her design, so I'm looking forward to meeting her and the rest of the characters we haven't seen yet. |
