65th, huh? Well that's one of my better finishes in terms of numbered position. But by percentile it's one of my worst. Hopefully next time we're given adequate notice and we don't end up with less than 150 people.

Damn, my last-minute Yagate swap still couldn't sneak me up higher. In the end, I got screwed for starting the season with Zombieland on the bench.

Ah, well. Still got a unique score, and a top 10 finish is pretty cool. GG everyone.

Congratulaton to the winner! Big thanks also to the FAL staff for the hard work.

Managed to squeeze in the top 15, overall my first FAL(technically) was a success.

Hopefully there'll be more participants in spring season if FAL's still alive by then.

I was afraid I would go drop in ranks and it actually happened. Well, just one rank down. xD I still ended up in the top 20, which is not too bad.

This is what happened when I ignored Zombieland completely when I was considering it highly since the beginning, but I can't remember what made me change my decision back then. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Congrats to steelbound for winning! GG to everyone who participated. \o/

Ended up in 6th place, my best result to date. If I'd remembered to Ace when I could have, and hadn't had JoJo on the bench in the first week, might have ended up a couple spots higher.

Thanks everyone!

I always thought one needed high levels of skill and knowledge of anime to win FAL. I never realized how much luck plays into things and how important it is to have the best team from the start. My standard practice of picking a team is to attempt to pick the four best anime and then picking a wildcard that will probably get switched out after the first week for a better title that's starting later. My wildcard was Zombieland Saga which I assumed would get switched out after the first week with my real 5th pick of SSSS. Gridman which never happened. If I was trying to pick the 5 top scoring anime from the start I probably wouldn't have come close to winning.

I also got extremely lucky when I was able to squeak past Kineta, who had the same active team as I. I wish I could say it was with cunning or something better sounding than oversleeping in week 4 and forgetting to ace Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara and then getting the chance to do so in week 5 and getting the bonus for highest unique team score.

I was worried after the MAL meltdown that ruined the spring contest that the staff running the Fantasy Anime League contest wouldn't want to do another one. I'm glad my worry was unfounded. You deserve a big round of applause and a hearty thank you - Thank you!

Cool to be at 14th place after being almost last on the previous FAL season. Also didn't used those wildcards. Most importantly, gg steelbound!

Next FAL season (on this spring) should be challenging imo.
