It's Episode 13.5. I'm usually not a fan of recap episodes but this one was alright. I'm kinda disappointed that we have to wait another week for some actual JoJo development!

This episode is a recap of the first 13 episodes (technically its episode 13.5), and doesnt count towards the 39 episode count as far as I know. Just in case anyone was wondering

I know they probably took a vacation or something, but can someone explain again (I have no hopes to be convinced) why do we need recap episodes instead of a giogioless week ?

Its probably to give more time to everyone involved on the production to animate and do everything properly,I think we'll get another one of these after episode 26

Releasing a recap doesn't helps the production more than not releasing at all, so your argument is not the one I want.

Releasing a recap doesn't helps the production more than not releasing at all, so your argument is not the one I want.

They probably just wanted to fill the week with something that doesn't require that much work while they make episode 14, so yeah, it probably gave them more time on the production. Or maybe im just overanalyzing everything and they are just taking a break after 13 episodes and thought a recap would be better than not releasing anything

I was disappointed that I didn't get to see best arc but I guess David needed some breaks as well. (Since duwang crash was more than enough for David to learn their lesson with airing anime.) Lets just be happy that pecsi and proscuitto aren't gonna look wack.

Why? Part 4 was a great example why DP shouldn’t force 39 episodes in one go, the quality starts dipping pretty badly. A week or two pause every now and then is necessary to keep the animation fresh through the series, especially when the next arc is one of the most iconic fights in all of JoJo. The recap is just to give something to the fans, it’s still better than nothing I guess.

Pretty decent recap including all the fights so far but I didn't really need it because I replay parts I like from the episodes several times from time to time~ Nice way to hype up the events that follow though since it's pretty much the last time Fighting Gold will be playing as the opening for the rest of the series ;~;

TV Schedules. They have chunks of tv time and need to fill it.

Apparently one of the channels that is airing Vento Aureo is one episode behind, so they made a recap so this particular channel can catch up to the other ones that are airing it too

As far as I know, there should be a break because of the holiday, but DP was kind enough to make a recap for us. Also they deserve some rest for their great work. So better appreciate rather than shit on it.
