| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So this finally decided to air after the season wait. While I wasn't satisfied with the main series, it did give this series a closure and it begins from this episode. Seems more like a buildup for the remaining episodes though. Lacia also got somewhat upgraded gear although she still looks the same. Meanwhile, the higher ups are planning something that I can't trust in. Oh and Methode had to show up again...her rivalry with Lacia is seriously getting stale. |

| Oh boy. Beatless is back after a few months and I'll give it credit. Whilst it was still oversaturated and boring for the most part, it did feel much more exciting compared to the old episodes which just ruined me, especially with the recaps. With a fresh mind, this wasn't a good episode but it was definitely among the better ones that this show provided. |
| There is probably a good story in here somewhere but it's bogged down by heavy handed story telling and exposition. It's a really hard show to follow at times. I sort of get the gist but I don't at the same time? I actually think the story needed to by streamlined and simplified for the anime. I honestly think this is why it bombed in Japan. |
| It´s ironic that show that gave us so many (useless) recaps didn´t provide any of that after several months pause. It would help a lot since I managed to forgot even the name of the MC (Arato). Personally I think there are people who could use some minipreview. But, what can you do. For me the story lost it charm somewhere halfway the series but I´ll watch it to the end since I didn´t read the novel and want to finally see at least some closure. |

| I hope this ends with some good action even if the ending might turn out to be very sad. The main series was very boring most of the time. The concept is interesting and though provoking but the presentation is just meh... |

| Using a live broadcast to allow people to see how super AI's like Higgins work and how HIE's must adapt to society was a smart move. Erika's reasoning for not intervening sure was funny though. Looks like Methode unlike Lacia doesn't want humanity to evolve any further. But the odds against Lacia and Arato sure increased substantially. Interesting episode that felt like more like a buildup for the rest of the season. |
