DO NOT ASK WHERE TO WATCH THE EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nice, the OP song for this season imo is a big improvement compared to Tokyo Ghoul Root. (my favorite is still the very first season's though) The episode didn't waste much time getting right into with character introductions. The familarity of the thrilling vibe also returns with this season. Felt like the episode is setting up for the rest of the season (no episode count # announced yet?) It's neat to see characters like Tooru, Sasaki, etc appear from the manga. I'm definitely feeling some of the psychology from this new series including parts wtih the action already.  Edit: I think might be 12 episodes. |

| After seeing the opening, 100% know where they're going to end this season on.... Obviously is gonna be rushed, but as long as the direction is good, I won't care. Fine starter all things considered |

| Havent watched the episode but for the OP, music is definitly better than Root A. however together with the visuals it is the weaker of the 3. Its just your generic showing the cast OP without any flavor and the music and visuals doesnt fit. pretty meh. |

| 6 chapters in one episode,hmm, seems rushed. Maybe they're going to adapt the whole thing,since manga is close to the end,but let's see. Opening was pretty good. Edit: Only 12 episodes...here goes my hope to see the greatest salt mine and nightmare of every fujoshi animated,hope they announce later that it's going to be split cour. |

| With the character designs for some reason I felt I was watching a sports anime lol. I'm not huge on Tokyo Ghoul but I'm interested in seeing how this goes because season 2 was pretty awful imo, so hopefully this is better |
| Good start! Although it was quite fast-paced as a manga reader it wasn't that bad. Having pretty low expectations might have helped. I think anime only fans will have a hard time understanding but hopefully the confusion will be cleared up soon. I think all the voices of Quinx really fit. I'm glad they kept Urie's inner thoughts. Haise is a walking sunshine already. OP and ED are rad. I'm unsure how many eps this will be but I bet that it will be a one cour, ending just at the end of Rose Extermination arc. |
| That was bad. Rushed beyond belief and it'll confuse a lot of ppl who haven't read source material. Opening sucks massively too. The singers voice just does not fit or work well for this song. |

| Opening was pretty mixed up, can't beat that of season 1 though... Yeah the anime is rushed, but its okay. We've waited for too long, something is better than nothing eyy :p |
| Rushed, but it makes sense. It was a good spot to end the first episode. And luckily, the first episode's content isn't particularly too important, as it's mainly just character introductions. Slowing down the pace from now on it ideal, but most likely they won't be doing that. Considering the OP and the pacing of the series so far, it's apparent where the series will be ending, and it will all be done in 12 episodes unfortunately. Well, it's not like I was expecting much from this adaptation anyways. Whatever, I just want to see some key moments animated. 3/5 |

| Since I haven't read the manga, I don't see what's rushed. The opening seems way better than Root A, but definitely not as good as Unravel. Also at first I thought that Sasaki was Kaneki, but then I realised he's not, and then that last scene with tortured Kaneki appeared and I was pretty confused, is he Kaneki or not? (Don't answer this, it's a rhetorical question.) |

| So yeah like people said, pretty rushed first episode, but other than that, pretty decent overall imo. I like how they did Urie's inner voice scenes. Also, it looks like they are just straight up adapting the manga which might confuse some anime only watchers. Now let's hope that Pierrot does not completely destroy this, for now I'm optimistic eventhough the pacing could be an issue... |

| I'm so glad they went with Torso's arc, Urie is epic as I thought he would be, Shirazu is the same idiot as always and Mutsuki is really lame. The Op sucks like the last season season as well as the ed and the animation looks not as good as I thought is that just me or I swear the last Two seasons were much better. |

| Decent enough start I guess, though they probably should've just cut the OP and ED to allow for even a slightly better pacing. Considering the beginning of Re: is when the manga is at it's high point, kind of sad to see it get shafted. But it's only episode 1, hopefully from here on the pacing isn't too shit. Bad OP, not as bad as root A but still pretty lackluster, comfy ED though. |

| It's not that rushed. I remember the manga felt the same way at the beginning, with a lot of info in the first chapters and not really explaining enough. It will just take a few more eps to establish everything about the new story, like it was for the manga. |

| They really adapted 6 chapters into one episode. I can understand that they probably wanted to show Kaneki in episode 1, but a flashback of his fight with Arima would've been better. I didn't hate it. Actually, I liked this episode. But, it is too fast paced, and a lot of dialogues are cut, so it is very confusing. |

| I haven't kept up with the manga in a long ass time, so I'm pretty much rereading from the beginning while watching this show. Just reread the 1st chapter last night (haven't reread beyond that) and they pretty much skipped everything that lead up to what we saw at the start of the episode. Of course, it's going to be rushed (6 chapters in this episode alone according to people above?!), what else is new when it comes to Studio Clown. Oh well, I shouldn't have expected better. Their adaptations haven't exactly been stellar as of late (Twin Star Exorcists, Black Clover). Also, I don't really care much for the OP or ED. I really wish they could get TK to do another song, Unravel was such a great song. |

| Season 1 was rushed, but it was really good imo. So I don't feel like it going through a lot of chapters per episode necessarily means it'll be bad. I really enjoyed this first episode, though. |
