| Hello! I am unsure where I should post this, so I figured that General Discussions section would be best, if it needs to be moved to another section then you have my permission. I am making this thread to ask for help in figuring out the names of the titles shown in the images for the MalGraph/graph.anime.plus site. I ahve been unable to find any resources online that identify this, so I am making this in order to make that source in the future. You can view the images using this link here and the site for the achievements you can click here. I will try to list off what I can, however I am asking for your help as there are a few titles shown on the achievement images that I would like to find out myself. Hopefully this thread may be useful to others in the future as well when they are trying to figure out what anime/manga the images are referencing. *Note: I will be using "TBD" (To Be Determined) as a note for any unknown entries. | Have you tried using google reverse image search? I did it for "My mind is full of fu**" and Shintaro Kago came up. I don't think it's part of a series or anything. It looks like a one off art drawing. |

As for the badges, here's a few notes/corrections: Horror and Thriller: - Flowers of flesh and blood: It doesn't directly reference any one series, as the higanbana flower (red spider lily) is a very common motif in majority of horror anime. But if you really want to pinpoint it, we mostly had Jigoku Shoujo in mind when we were making it. Video Games: - Hacking to the Gate: 100% reference to Steins;Gate. I cut that gif from the opening. Shorts: - Short but gold: true, more specifically, the Kigeki (Comedy) one. Total number completed: - A millionaire: it's actually Hidamari Sketch. I can't specify which season the scene is from, but given that this is a leftover from the first graph, it's probably either first or second. That's Yuno on the picture. Glad there's someone from MALGraph themselves to help out with some of the fill in the blanks, we have most of them now so thank you for your contribution. In regards to the Bakuman image it was confirmed by 7kaneki7 first however I was waiting for a screenshot to verify, but seeing as you also verified it I'll add it for now. Would you happen to know any more per chance? Also, does MALGraph have a link to which anime are listed for the respective achievements? Second, you're clearly misunderstanding the purpose of this post and its meaning, this only talks about which anime were used to create each badge, it has nothing to do with you gaining them. Third, you have only 43 completed shows, that's less than even most first level achievements. You probably won't start getting any until you hit a couple hundred completed shows, unless you really focus on one genre. |

| @bakahelen: Again, super wrong place to ask that. This forum is not part of the GRAPH club, forward all of your questions there. But to answer your question: you do not "complete" pervert achievements, they're based on your percentage of ecchi/hentai anime in regards to other anime on your list. You can only have one level at a time, representing your current ratio. |
| Hey, I made the original achievements years ago. :) I can help with some and provide some backstory if you're interested. Where do I put these? - That character is Chikako "Aa-san" Awara from GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class Half a grand - Oh wow, I wish I could help here, but I have no idea! I think I found it by accident, but faintly remember that it might be a character that's eating at some convention or book fair. But I wouldn't want to push you on some wrong track, so take it with a grain of salt. Best I can do is 2 - This is a recreation of MAL's score selector. So it doesn't have an anime or manga source, but may be worth describing instead of N/A. Mechazawa - Yes, that's from Cromartie, that's Mechazawa in some crazy form. I wish I didn't use Mechazawa as an icon for mecha anime, because everyone knows Mechazawa is a normal, completely human boy, nothing to see here. Anime no drop - This is in reference to Guilty Crown being so bad that half of the people on /a/ were saying they're dropping it, in every weekly thread about its new episode. Archaeologist - It was difficult to find anything related to archaeology in anime, and then rr- told me there was something buried in some episode of Katanagatari, so we used that scene. That's all I can help with! After all these years I still love the badge for mahou shoujo level 3 the most (Too magical to comprehend), and I think the Librarian one was the hardest to get right (the original image is way less readable, this has tons of lineart/color fixes). Props for recognizing the sources, especially the magical ring from Nanoha. Impressive list! |
