| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, that wraps up this show and the reiminsence episodes. To me, this anime was nostalgic and had a lot of emotions. Even the reiminsence episodes were a refreshing watch. I do wish they had more content rather than 6 actual episodes. (remainder 6 were all recaps) For this finale, it had its usual human drama although Hell Girl's crew didn't get featured as much as some of the other episodes. Still glad to see Ai again though with her usual business. |

| I'm disappointed in this season! Since the announcement that JS would return after years, only give us 6 episodes and the rest will repeat! Defeat the fans! They could at least reprise the remarkable episodes of previous seasons, like Episode 13 of Season 1, or the episodes that reveal the past of Honne Onna, Ichimoku, Yamawaro ... I bet the studio's selection criterion was in the random! In my conclusion this season was only a means of promoting the opening band and Michiru's voiceover (not belittling any of them, of course). ------ Sorry if this sounds strange, used translator! |

| Hehe. I bet lots of people can relate to Inao. A nobody with no friends starts doing something. People start noticing her, so she starts doing it more. And then she starts doing it to the point where she becomes obsessed with it. Attention-seekers. It's sad, but it happens... Yay, Yoi no Togi is finished! Episode 3 is definitely one of the best episodes of the Summer season! So...Jigoku Shoujo: Fifth Rewind when? |

| Seriously? That's it? Just another recap for the final episode... Honestly, this was the hugest disappointment I had the displeasure of watching. I'm sure my score would have been a lot higher if we had a more solid conclusion to exactly what happened after 6, but nope, Ai just disappeared and everyone was oddly fine with it. Then Michiru was supposed to take her place but we never once saw her either. I liked her backstory too with how tragic it was, on par with how tragic Ai's was... Oh, let's not forget how Tsugumi made an appearance as well >_> What was the point of that? Just a little fanservice for older fans? Man... I'm really disappointed... I'm not even gonna judge it based off the second half of recap since that was cheap of Deen, but of the first half that was just an incomplete mess. I rarely give out anything below a 5 but 3/10 for this. |

| This fourth season should never have existed, I do not know because they revived this franchise if with the third season and they had fucked with this it worsened and even more and more it is noticed that they recycled episodes of the previous seasons and with a lot less budget. Compared to the first two seasons that were really cool the series should end there but they ruined it but could not. |

| This was my favourite episode in season three, so it was fun seeing it again, but as it ended I just felt bad for Hell Girl. We were always going to have the recap/reminiscent episodes, but placing them at the end of the series really ruined things. It makes no sense from a viewing standpoint and a storytelling one to do something like that, unless there's this bigger meaning and a new series being worked on. If the recap episodes played first and then the new stuff, the rating would be higher. The newer episodes were okay, even though the Michiru stuff felt a bit rushed, but does anyone care now that we're done the series? It's disappointing, but if they make a new season I'd watch it. |

| As far as I am concerned this fourth season dont exist. Hell girl only has 3 season. Anyway most of new episodes was really bad, the recaps was worthless without any purpose. If only they would have showed episodes ranked by popularity...This however was useless. 3/10 |

| Gargeous episodes was 1-6, for me they were the best of the all 4 seasons. Last 6 episodes recap were awfull. 8/10 (first 6 episodes). |
| A shame that this series already ended so fast! The first 6 episodes were superb and it was nice to see a return of Jigoku Shoujo, I totally didn't expect a replacement for her, and I do now wonder if we'll see a continuation on that? It doesn't feel the same with the new Jigoku Shoujo though, but it was a great wrap up either way. As well as experiencing some great episodes again from the other seasons was great as well! Quite enjoyed this season and really hope to see more one day! |

| I only watched the beginning parts of episodes 7-12 and not the rest. I don't know why they bothered to make season 4 12 episodes long if they weren't going to have enough budget or ideas for half its length. They should have just made it a half-cour long. But at least the second, fourth, fifth, and sixth episodes that were recapped were good episodes. |

| And this is the official ending to Jigoku Shoujo Yoi no Togi. I liked what they did for this reminiscence episodes, mainly with the 2D beginning, but it still won't make me rise my score. Maybe if I do it, it will be from 5 to 6? but that's a low chance to happen. I'm curious if there will ever be a 5th season. All I know is that, if there will actually be one, I can say that I'm already caught up to the anime and won't have to watch the 4 seasons before. Those episodics made me so sad. P.S. I ended up giving this a 6. Even though the story was bad, I love the characters so much and the interactions between them that I had to give this a 6/10. Kikuri went from a hated character to a fun one. |
