| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kaburagi Issa vs Doubashi has been intense so far. I love it. Kaburagi is sort of the underdog here but I love his determination. All the mind games aside, this episode highlights a rivalry that imo turns to a personal level. I'm impressed at how fired up Kaburagi got this episode. |

| So the "Bambi" means... Ooh, I get it. Talk about survival from that Monster Doubashi. But this Bambi have someone helping him, even after this someone shout "all-rounder" all the time and Doubashi also realize his idiotness. LOL |

| Awesome episode, intensity was off the charts. I loved the scene when they showed Kaburagi was behind Aoyagi and Doubashi all that time. Kaburagi still believes he's an all rounder. xD The part where Aoyagi takes that slip from his pocket and shows it to Kaburagi was so damn cool. The final sprint was pure awesomeness, too bad Kaburagi fell short by just a little to Doubashi. :( That post credit scene, Aoyagi. XDDD |

| This match up was a great start for this inter high. It was really exiting till the last second. So it was Doubashi who took the win in the end and I can live well with it. His build up was good so far and I came to like his character. Kaburagi put on a brave fight, but he is still young and can gain much out of his loss. | I was literally shaking after the final sprint ended. This episode and the one before were so great together, I just can't state it enough. Really well made. And here I'm still hoping that season 3 once again has more than 25 episodes.. I just couldn't live with a break in the middle of an Inter High. |

| I can't wait to see the new team of Midosuji and the new skills of Naruko, and I'm still hoping that there will be an other outsider like the Hiroshima's team of the past year. |

| My prediction is correct!, Doubashi won the sprint. I think Sohoku will redeem itself thru Naruko's all rounder change... but still there are many other threats, like Kyoto Fushimi's Komari and Hakone's Shinkai Yuuto (younger brother climber) 5/5. |

| Okames becoming less and less funny every time :( this one especially. Tbh didnt really like the race at all :( I remember it being really significant and hype as fuck last inter high. Izumida vs Tadokoro+Naruko who all competed against each other, how they ran through cones and injured themselves that made them win later on while Izumida slowed down and went around the cone. Tadokoro winning in the end was hype as fuck. Also what made me like last race so much is because characters that were in it were 10000 times more interesting than Doubashi and Issa which for me personally are quite annoying and not interesting at all. I dont know the race was just really plain and dull. Aoyagi's power boost is the most ridiculous one so far, there's no way he can power up himself so much just like Tadokoro and Issa just doesnt have the same charisma as other characters, he just plain ruined the show with his presense and since we spent so much time on him its a really big deal since it wasnt as enjoyable as it was. I dont find him being too appreciative of others, take last inter high for example Naruko even though is cocky he still went all out for his friends and he was really appreciative to be with everyone, racing. He even said that he wants to cross the finish line together holding hands. Anyway i hate Issa Kaburagi >_> |
| Oh that was exciting. But of course Hakone was gonna win - Sohoku didn't win this nor the climb last year, but guess who took home the trophy in the end?! Edit: my bad, forgot about good old Tadokoro winning the sprint! Let's see what happens |

| Another weird move by Aoyagi. I really think something like Toudou's silent climb would've fitted him better because of his quiet personality (although since this season he talks a lot more). Intense sprint, I'm glad Doubashi won that as it would be frustrating to lose from someone who needed a magical note to realise he's a sprinter (at least I hope he realised that) |
