Didn't expect Reiner to be such a poor fighter. Once Eren stopped slugging it was completely one-sided. You'd think he never had any training.

Whew this confrontation was a long time coming and didn't disappoint! Sadly Eren was never gonna win against someone who spent much more time being a titan aware of their powers

I absolutely hate this show for its cliffhangers. And this time it's probably the laziest execution I've ever seen.

Ugh, why did they have to use CG for the Colossal titan. Looks weird asf.

Nice fight but not as good as the one with Annie.

Eren's titan voice in the dub is awful.

Still wondering what we'll learn about Annie. From what I've heard, the manga's presentation of her was less one dimensional.

CG Colossal Titan looks like shit.
Oh, Connie.
lol Eren getting fucked up even after his MC speech.
Oh shit. Eren using techniques.
lol at Hange blushing.
Dat Mikasa cut.
Colossal Titan is falling.
Dat ending.

-That epic and intense fight was glorious to watch.

-CGI Colossal Titan doesn't as intimidating or good as in season 1.

-Beautiful maneuver by Mikasa to slash behind the Armored Titan's knees.

-Eren is filled with RAGE.

This series has been amazing with its fight choreography so far.
First off, I was pleasantly surprised when the author incoporated muay thai into Annie's fight stance, made me proud as a muay thai amateur fighter.
Then this episode hit and it was honestly really cool when i could predict each submission hold that Eren used against Reiner before he did it. Felt like i had a sharingan. Too bad titans dont breathe, or that guillotine wouldve made quick work of Reiner

HOLY SHIT...

I am still shocked as I have not expected this
Reiner and Berthold are the mass murderer titans from Eren's home town...WTF

For the female titan it was easy to find out that it is Annie but this one...I have never thought of this..Reiner maybe but Berthold to be the Colossal Titan still flashes me

Damn what a great ep!
The fights were very detailed and it just not a mindless brawl mc did use of brain and tactics to overcome the enemy which i really like. Eren learned a lot from Annie even Mikasa want to learn from her. Like Annie was inspiration to Eren when it comes to fighting. Im glad they showed her in this ep i really miss Annie.

Annie vs Mikasa
Two of the strongest in their group I wonder who won damn i hope they show us their fight.

ok this episode was very tense!!!!!!!!!!!!

side note - the animation for the colossal titan at the start looked really out of place - was it cgi? it looked very separate (for want of a better word) to the rest of the animation

jean hasn't appeared at all (except flashbacks), it's really odd considering how much time he had in s1... and even levi has had hardly any time but i suppose that's because they are focusing on the titan action so he isn't involved in that right now

Eren vs Armored Titan/Reiner was an excellent fight. Beautiful animation except for the Colossal Titan. It didn't look bad or anything but it looked a bit awkward because it's CGI. The dynamic camera angles when the scouts were battling the Colossal Titan made up for the CGI though. The flashback with Annie and how Eren learned how to fight was lovely as well.

I think this is the best episode of the series so far!! It was so riveting, I love the action scenes. I think that the flashbacks were well paced and really enforce the fact that Eren isn't some type of inherent genius but that he has the hard work and learning abilities to make him strong. Even though the armored titan was clearly stronger than him, he still still was able to gain an advantage over him by applying the skills that Annie taught him in the past. The animation at the very beginning that was even used at the end of episode six of Eren crying and then transforming was superb. I audibly gasped when Ymir was eaten, although at this point in the series, I don't think that actually really matters that she was "eaten." I am curious about the other person that Bertholdt grabbed, originally I thought it was Eren, but the entire episode proves that wrong. I didn't actually mind the 3D animation for the colossal titan in the action scenes, and actually, I thought the worst moment of 3D animation was a still shot of the colossal titan. It hurt my heart so badly when Connie was begging them to save Reiner and Bertholdt, not knowing who they truly were. Another animation that I thought was particularly great was the hand reconstruction animation. The whole action scenes of Eren and the armored titan was great, but I happened upon a very funny frame at 10:06. It reminds me of those Pain Naruto screenshots if anyone knows what I'm talking about. I think that this will be a high point of the season and I am curious and excited to see how the rest of the season plays out.

Eren's anger is really showing here and the other squad has to fight against the colossal titan

Those action scenes are so good the only setback was that CGI on the colossal titan I really anticipate what difference it is for it to be animated by hand, The titan martial arts are different here but damn Eren's putting it to good use from what he learned from Annie back then the dialogues in between fights makes it to perfection in the action

As things were going as planned Reiner let out a roar and I wonder if they're in range of the colossal titan and they are and I hope Eren doesn't take a huge amount of damage from that fall damn it that cliffhanger again.

its got to be very heart breaking for eren, he used to look up to reiner and annie and they both turned out to be titans and what' more they want to kidnap him and make him turn to titan's side.

all those emotions burst through him, it was true he couldn't have beaten reiner with strength alone, nice use of martial arts there. the fight was amazing to watch.

excited for next episode.

The end of an era. Thank you Wit, Mappa and Isayama.

Hah i knew it, Annie technique must be useful for Eren somehow. Easily backfired by teaching Eren all of that martial arts. If only there's a monologue from Reiner, he knew, he fucked up. But to think that Eren could be that mature to control himself at those angered situation, looks like these episode can be counted as a development for him.

Looks like Hange dream comes true when standing by at Eren shoulder. But, be careful, there's Mikasa lurking around! Though, the colossal titan slammed himself down actually quite be an obvious act. As always they looked dumb first to not figuring that out fast, to end the episode with tense. Oh well, lets see whats up with next...
