Are you still in contact with your high school/uni friends? Maybe they can give you some advice too

Not too sure about the parents part since here in Singapore we usually only move out when we get married because the prices of flats here are ridiculous and there are a few grants the government gives out for couples I believe(not familiar with this area)

It's not so bad during my high school and university. I have (few) friends and all that. But now, I'm sitting here with no real obligation anymore. I'm looking for a job but the idea of new people new environtment, it's kind of scaring me. I thought with my current side job is enough (I mean I give money to my parents, pay the bill and all). But I know I really have to go out eventually u.u It's not good, to live as a hermit lol

Ah yeah... I want to pursue career in art, rather than because I feel like it's my passion, it's more to do to avoid stepping outside my comfort zone u.u

I want a career where I don't need to deal with people lol

Are you still in college now? or? It's a really mature thought to have.
When choosing my major years ago, I only thought about what I like instead of looking for job prospect orz

I did! Actually, I've choosen Art and Design before Japanese Lit, but I didn't get accepted orz

Yeah the competition is pretty tough. Especially in Japan. There are tons of people who have god-like talent in art lol. I visit pixiv often and people there just doing it for hobby, yet the art is so stunning. I can only imagine those who are the actual pro.

I still need years of practice before I can touch anywhere near those level. And I aint got time for that lol
So, in the end, I only think of it as hobby, trying to improve still and use it as a side job. Until I'm good and comfortable enough to take it to the next step. Meanwhile, I'm just gonna look for another job orz maybe japanese teacher or japanese translator or something lol

About the adoptables thing, as far as I know, it's only a thing in that spesific site (and some other site as well). If I were to go professional, maybe working in a gaming company to design the characters (or maybe in an anime studio lol), but I don't think I'm good enough for that. Or to go professional with my art as an illustrator or something orz. I wish tho XD
