I think it would be better, because then I'd feel in sync with the lead. Don't get me wrong though yuri is great.

Anyway...

Have fun discussing about that.

Well to be honest with demon girls I'd prefer a male lead, it's just boring when girls with already huge breasts tease other girls with big breasts as well. If there was a main lead it'd be more entertaining to watch at least for me

Nope. The male lead would end up being your generic degenerate that can't interact with women and is too pussy to do anything, female lead is far better.

If the male lead can be someone like Ainz, it could potentially make the show better.

If he wasn't a panicky faggot then yeah, maybe it would have been better with a male lead.

If you can't bust one without a male MC to get toyed by the girls that's your problem.

No, definitely no.

Sometimes the male MC only ruins the show (ecchi shows obviously)

We need more "Only girls ecchi" or almost like Ikkitousen (where the men are secondary)

Would be a lot worse. In most cases I like shows with male chars a lot more. And for example I hate stuff like Lucky Star with girls-only-cast.

But shows like this - with girls fighting and tons of ecchi - are meant to be with girls-only cast (at least for the main chars).

Guys would ruin it with other unnecessary (and boring) fanservice. Guys would only work in a real hentai ... or in an anime with a decent plot/story.

It depends, if the male MC you are talking about is a beta useless and powerless male that is always at the mercy of the girl then fuck no. I had enough of that
But if male you are talking about is someone that can hold his ground against this girl and actually relevant and contribute something to the story, then maybe it's ok.

You couldn't replace Lucifer with a male. The character interactions would fall apart. Just maybe, you could replace Maria with an equally helpless, innocent male character, but I'm sure it's better to have a female in that role. A male would clash with all the yuri.

I actually prefer ecchi shows where the girls tease the male MC to no end. So I would prefer this to have a male MC, yes.

Yeah -- and maybe he could appear really weak at first, but really be a rare prodigy with a hidden power that one or more of the girls could awaken, eventually surpassing them all and becoming their protector and object of inexplicable obsession. And maybe he could be a brooding anti-hero who struggles every episode with both his ambitions and his angst around women in various states of undress.

Nah, just kidding. I'm of the opinion that more anime should follow the Koihime†Musou model and deep-six the fuck-boy harem holder entirely.

These types of anime always have male MC and all of them act the same. I think that an all-female cast in this type of anime is refreshing despite the old formula it follows.
"I lost all of what you could call feelings of love. They weren't sealed, so they can't be released. They weren't broken, so they can't be fixed. That which is lost, cannot be recovered." Shiba Tatsuya
"There are no regrets. If one can be proud of one's life, one should not wish for another chance." Saber
"No matter what happens, no matter how crazy things get, I'll always try to restore balance." Korra
"It's madness to let others take what's yours and accept it blindly." Baatar Jr
"Instinct is a lie, told by a fearful body, hoping to be wrong." Zaheer
"Partner in crime, partner in time" Chloe Price and Max Caulfield

Honestly no, we have too many male protagonists, which isn't bad, but a female lead would give us a fresh mind of how this goes. Diversity is key, most of the time

Worse. Definitely, without a doubt, absolutely, 100% worse. In my opinion.
I tend to enjoy Ecchi shows much, much more if they have a female lead. And I really doubt that's gonna change anytime soon.
Also, how the hell (pun intended) would you give THIS show a male lead? Make him an innocent bystander? Because that would be awful. Probably.

Lol. You people acting like this anime is so special.

having no male lead isn't anything all that special.

Hell this anime is basically a carbon copy of Queens Blade in terms of style and fan service.

Also there have been a few ecchi anime with awesome male leads so don't act like including a male would by default be a gutless one unable to do anything.

Like how? Imagine Lucifer is guy - do you really want to watch asshole bullying nice girl, walking scantily clad and being tentacle raped?
This is oppai anime like Valkyrie Drive and Queen's blade series. Male MC = one pair of boobs less.

Hell no. This type of mentality that transformed ecchi and hentai animes into such garbage.
At least, 10 or 20 years before, even perverted animes had much more charm and some creativity. Female characters were much more entertaining to watch.
Now, everything is about inserting the male audience with generic sex scenes and generic girls.

This show is trash regardless of who the MC is or what gender they are, it's only good for the quality of the animation and even this ecchi driven series is honestly not that good, would be more enjoyable as a flat out hentai; totally boring as an ecchi series. Male lead would make it more entertaining probably, especially if it were a hentai with penetration involved... :')

No. The only reason I didn't drop this because there is no male main or supporting character. The series wouldn't benefit from that at all and no matter if he's gutsy or pansy. If you want guys in a show like this, there is at least one every season. Yuri is much hareder to find.

Probably worse. In that scenario the MC is either this standard can't do wrong wimp, hyper inconsiderate (emphasis on inconsiderate) "laid-back" type, or finally the perfect can't do wrong type. This seems to create a main girl and main trio that finds themselves rotating constantly around the MC and pretty much all of their problem, personalities, and goals, seem to come from or through the MC. Until writers can create females leads as at the very least autonomous I think I don't mind the absence of romance is works to come. I think autonomous is better than "independent" since some works require women to sub-servant (time period dramas etc.). But I believe a writer can still show the audience a developed female lead without them being "in charge", hyper aggressive, or using the male "lead" as a punching bag. Apparently people like to settles from incredible strong-but-docile-looking-and-only-tameable-by-the-male-lead type of girls thus far.
