| I watched the first three seasons so long ago!! Pretty good news tbh, I'm looking forward to some hopefully luscious art since even way back when, I always loved the art & character designs of Jigoku Shoujo! It's the sort of anime that could practically go on forever so long as there are people who want some form of vengeance...plus as far as I remember, the ending of Mitsuganae was pretty open so another season would work fine. I'm just so surprised! Seems like it's just come out of left field...wonder what other good animu news we'll be getting? |

| Well this came out of nowhere. Already saw all 3 seasons pre-2010 so this has me excited. I remember really liking the soundtrack, still have them in my smartphone. | Damn might have to seriously watch this show now. It's the only somewhat famous Horror anime I haven't seen yet. Being a horror anime advocate I've always felt obliged to watch it anyway but that episode count was daunting. |

You do now it'll takes at least 4 seasons of anime (possibly more) to catch up to the Sasaki arc right? While I do agree your point is the best and what we really wanted Haruhi anime to be, it's like bitting more than we can chew. Almost 7 years of waiting is already hurt as it is, I'll take anything even 3 episode of ova as a new start, as long as there'll be more Haruhi. |

| Double confirmed that its airing this summer. Title of this season is ''Jigoku Shoujo Yoi no Togi'' It's going to be 12 episodes (of course) with 6 new episode and 6 "reminiscence" episodes. News Update The official website and Twitter have been opened and announced that the title for the new TV anime will be Jigoku Shoujo: Yoi no Togi. The series is scheduled to air on MBS, Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS 11. It will consist of six new episodes and six selective old episodes. While cast and most of staff members will reprise their roles, Takahiro Omori, who directed first two seasons, will return to direct instead of Hiroshi Watanabe, who directed third season. | Whoa, I remembered watching the first season last year. I guess I should continue season 2 and 3 to prepare for season 4. Damn, Deen made this? It looked pretty good on its first season for a 2005 anime. To think that this series will have a 4th season after 12 years since debut... what is this? Finding Dory? I can't believe an original anime actually gets a sequel after ~9 years since its last season. |
